Cadillac is shifting the dynamics of luxury car value with the 2024 Lyriq. It’s a move that’s packing just as much value, along with those bells, whistles, and prestige, into this new model. So, if you want a value proposition and a luxury brand, check out what’s coming with the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq.

Cadillac is a luxury car brand first

Cadillac has always aligned itself as a brand with upscale luxury driving experiences. And when you buy a Cadillac, you know it’s going to come fully equipped with supple leathers, innovative technology, push-button everything, and smooth rides. It’s also going to come with a hefty price tag, especially when you get into SUV territory. The high-performance 2024 Cadillac Escalade V costs nearly $150,000, as Kelley Blue Book shared.

The 2024 Cadillac Lyriq, however, is telling a different story. It’s packed with the full roster of features you’d expect from Cadillac. But this luxury electric SUV is packing another punch, with a value proposition anyone can appreciate.

The 2024 Cadillac Lyriq promises both luxury and value

The 2024 Cadillac Lyriq is infusing the electric SUV market with some personality, according to Edmunds. So, if you’re bored with the current group of EV options, wait until you see the Lyriq. This midsize SUV marks the first fully electric introduction from Cadillac, and every square inch of its interior and exterior exudes posh Cadillac style.

There are some new features for the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq, including heated rear seats. There are also Sport and Tech trims joining the configuration lineup. The Tech trim is Lyriq’s base model, bumping up to 1, 2, and 3 trims. And you can get the Luxury or the Sport trims with the same chronological bumps. The real value is in the Luxury 2 and Sport 2 combinations. Here’s where you’ll get all the top driver aids and luxury of the Tech, but with massaging front seats, ventilated front seats, a 19-speaker AKG premium audio system, and Super Cruise for hands-free driving.

As the Edmunds team describes, the Lyriq “comes with plenty of features for the money.” The MSRP price range is $57,195 to $69,695, which is a stark contrast to some of the traditional Cadillac SUV pricing

Is the Lyriq the better electric SUV to buy?

So, the question is, is the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq the better buy in the mass-electric SUV market? Car and Driver recently rated some of the “best electric SUVs,” outlining some of the other options. Among the favorites are the 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 5 ($43,000,) the 2024 Kia EV6 ($44,000,) the 2024 Volkswagen ID.4 ($41,000,) and the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E ($45,000.) So, when weighing your options, you’ll want to consider your budget and your desired features.

While these are all worthy contenders in EV performance, technology, and upscale features, they’re not Cadillac. And for the extra money to buy a 2024 Lyriq, you’re getting a full suite of cool features and extras you just can’t find on other models. In the end, value can only be defined by the luxury car-buying consumer. If you’re like most of the industry critics and Cadillac enthusiasts, the Lyriq is a serious luxury bang for the buck.

See what you think about the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq. Even if it’s not your typical value proposition, it certainly deserves a look.
