The Subaru BRZ has provided drivers with power and lots of fun for many years, so there’s no surprise it’s been a success in the industry. Although it’s on the smaller size, it still packs a punch. 2023 Subaru BRZ specs, changes, and updates

According to Car and Driver, Subaru isn’t making any significant changes to the BRZ for the 2023 model year. Meaning, that the new Subaru BRZ will offer very similar specs to the 2022 model year. 

The 2023 Subaru BRZ Premium comes equipped with a track-tested suspension and Torsen limited-slip differential. It also comes powered by a 228-horsepower 2.4-liter SUBARU BOXER engine and is available with a 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.

“The 2.4-liter feels more responsive than the previous model’s 2.0-liter engine, even if it’s not enough to make the BRZ the quickest car in town,” Car and Driver reports.

Inside are features such as keyless access with push-button start, SUBARU STARLINK Multimedia with standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, and more.

And like we said before, the 2023 BRZ Limited adds more features you can’t get with the Premium model. Aside from the upgraded wheels and tires, some of the other notable specs include:

• Leather/Ultrasuede-trimmed upholstery
• Heated front seats
• LED Steering Responsive Headlights

How much will the Subaru BRZ cost in 2023?

The 2023 BRZ Premium has a starting MSRP of $28,595 (adding an automatic transmission will cost you an additional $1,500). 

If you’re looking for a model with more features, you’ll want to spend the extra $2,500 and go for the Limited. Limited models come equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels in a matte gray finish, Michelin Pilot Sport 4 summer tires, and more.

Finally, if you like the idea of owning the 2023 BRZ Limited but need an automatic transmission, you can expect to spend around $32,795. You’ll also be getting Reverse Automatic Braking and EyeSight Driver Assist Technology.

When can I order a new Subaru BRZ?

However, it’s already available at dealerships. In April 2022, the company announced that the 2023 BRZ would arrive at Subaru retailers this summer.
