How much will the 2022 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro cost?
Toyota’s 2022 Tundra TRD Pro starts at $66,805. That’s a major price bump from last year’s TRD Pro which set you back just $49,225. But the new TRD Pro boasts flash and desert-racing capability to rival Ford’s Raptor.

The TRD Pro is only available with the top-trim hybrid powerplant; it cranks out 437 horsepower and 583 lb-ft of torque. The TRD Off-Road package is a bargain, the TRD Pro is a flagship Raptor-fighter
Andre at TFL Off Road pitted the TRD Off-Road against the TRD Pro in a head-to-head. He found the 2022 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro was a capable desert runner. Its wide stance and heavy-duty shock absorbers gave him confidence in high-speed off-roading. The TRD Pro is the clear choice for desert running. But price aside, the TRD Pro was not the clear winner.
The 2022 Tundra TRD Pro’s heavy hybrid powertrain increases the truck’s weight to 6,200 pounds and drops its payload capacity to 1,355 pounds. Though it’s very capable of conquering low-speed obstacles, this weight is troubling for an off-road truck.
If you order a TRD Off-Road you can choose from a variety of cab and bed configurations, and potentially save $20k. It is as capable as the TRD Pro at low-speed maneuvers, and thus will be the clear choice for most 4×4 enthusiasts.
