It Doesn’t Matter If You Hate the New Nissan 400Z Design

For years the Nissan Z community has waited for the release of a newer, updated sports car. After the much-anticipated release of other popular redesigns like the new mid-engine Corvette C8, we couldn’t feel anything but excited for the new 400Z. Earlier this month, Nissan released the Proto Z, which will be close to the production model of the new Nissan 400Z, but it wasn’t as well-received as the company may have hoped. In fact, many people disliked the new design, and if you are one of those people, there are a few reasons why the design shouldn’t really matter.

The production model

The version of the car that was released by Nissan earlier this month might not be the final production design. In fact, there have been too many renderings and designs so far that people seemed to have loved or hated the car regardless of its actual styling. But, chances are, the Proto Z that was released won’t be an exact example of the full-scale production model, which means there is time for changes that you might like.

The Nissan 400Z will be customizable

If there is one thing that people know about z cars besides that they are affordable, it is that they are customizable. Because of the car’s price and popularity, they are a pretty common choice for tuners and custom car designers. The Nissan 350Z is still a popular choice for drivers who still love the Fast and Furious era of cars, so it makes sense that the 400Z will be too.

It might take a few years, but there is a high chance that aftermarket body kits and front ends will become available for the Nissan 400Z. That means if you don’t like something about the car’s design now, it is only inevitable that custom builders will swoop in with more design changes.

Keeping an open mind

On the other hand, the way that the Nissan Proto Z was released might just grow on you with time. In fact, there are a lot of reasons to love the redesign itself. The sporty exterior has a lot of the design features we loved form previous years, with some more modern changes. The interior is more comfortable than ever, and even more importantly, there is a good chance that it will come with a manual transmission.

Whether you love the current design for the Nissan 400Z or hate it, there is still a lot that could change. Even if the manufacturer doesn’t make last minute changes to the design, the car will likely follow in its predecessors footsteps as a hot car for custom builds.
