Power, one of the more trusted names in the business, chose an unlikely model for the best compact SUV. What do y’all know about the 2022 Buick Envision?

According to J.D. Power, the 2022 Buick Envision is the best compact SUV our world has to offer. The Envision is described as having “head-turning elegance and dynamic performance.” That is literally the first sentence of the review. J.D. Power really likes this one.
J.D. Power gave the 2022 Buick Envision a score of 85/100. The four major categories that the reviewers look at are Quality and Reliability, Driving Experience, Resale, and Dealership Experience. The Envision scored top marks in each category.
When asked by JDP, owners said they liked how quiet the cabin is, the engine’s sound, and the interior’s quality.

The Buick Envision comes with a surprisingly spritely turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four making 228 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. This turbo powerplant links with a nine-speed auto trans and comes in both FWD and AWD.
The gas mileage doesn’t benefit all that much from the 2.0-liter engine; in fact, the Buick Envision only gets 22 mpg in town and 31 on the highway. While this is actually pretty good for an SUV, it’s not the most fuel effcient.

The Buick Envision is loaded with tech
Although Buick has lost some steam over the years, there is a long history of luxury associated with the brand. While many customers may have forgotten that, the Envision hasn’t.
Features like the hands-free truck opening and closing sensor come standard. Buick’s Infotainment System features wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and the Built-In Wi-Fi Hotspot accommodates up to seven devices. And with available Buick Connected Services, you can control your Envision with your smartphone.
Is the 2022 Buick Envision safe?
Buick offers airbags and an HD rear vision camera as standard. There is also an available HD Surround Vision that uses multiple cameras to give you a 360-degree view from above of what’s around your car. And according to J.D. Power, when Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning Rear Cross Traffic Alert or your Envision’s other driver-assistance technologies trigger a warning, the Safety Alert Seat issues a signal of its own.
Are Buicks worth it?
We can’t tell you what car would be worth it for you and your family. However, J.D. Power sure feels strongly about the 2022 Buick Envision. If it beat out the Subaru Forester and the Honda CR-V, there must be something to it.
