If you the James Bond movies, and especially if you loved the serious cars and SUVs from the “No Time To Die” movie, you have a chance to use your MegaMillions lottery winnings and get yourself one of the actual cars. Quite a few cars are coming up for auction, including a Jaguar, Aston Martins, Defenders, and a Range Rover Sport. Each vehicle has its proceeds going to various organizations like the British Red Cross and the Tusk conservation charity.

All but one of the vehicles in the Christie’s auction is from the movie, including the pre-production Land Rover Defender 110. It was used in the all-terrain chase sequence, and for promotional purposes before and during the film’s release. Being pre-production and also modified for stunts, it cannot be licensed. It is serial number 007, by the way. The Defender is estimated to sell for between $360,000 and $600,000. 

Another Defender 110 being auctioned is a V8 Bond Edition from SV Bespoke. However, it was not used in the movie. SV produced 300 Bond Edition Defender, and this one is expected to fetch between $240,000 and $360,000.

The Jaguar XF being auctioned was seen in the pre-credit sequence. The bad guys use it to chase Bond, played by Daniel Craig, and Madelaine Swann, played by Lea Seydoux. It is expected to reach between $60,000 and $80,000. 

A Range Rover Sport SVR that was one of six used in filming, was part of a chase scene in the movie. It is expected to get between $100,000 and $150,000. These are all a great part of the auction, but now we have the big dogs that are expected to see estimates of over $1 million in some cases.

The 1981 Aston Martin V8 driven by Craig was modified to look like the 1987 version from “The Living Daylights” Bond movie. It was driven by actor Timothy Dalton. Christie’s expects the Aston Martin to fetch between $600,000 and $850,000.

Another Aston Martin, this one a DB5 replica is next. Seven other DB5s were used in filming besides this one, but it is the only one that is a stunt car. It features mocked-up damage for the opening chase scene from “No Time To Die.” Estimates of its sale are between $1.8 and $2.4 million. Proceeds go to The Prince’s Trust and the Prince of Wales’s Charitable Fund. 

In all, 25 vehicles will be auctioned live at the invitation-only event on September 28. Another online auction happens from September 15 to October 5. There will be 35 lots that span all 25 of the Bond films. October 5 is also James Bond day in the UK. See how this all ties together?
