However, according to The Truth About Cars, a teaser for the Jeep Gladiator Rubicon 392 may have just dropped. A silhouette of a Gladiator appeared with beefy-looking accessories and a Rubicon-392 style hood. It will also wear similar updates to the 2024 Jeep Wrangler.
Placing the massive 392 engine in the Gladiator would cause havoc at the fuel pump, but it would also up this truck’s desert racing game. Plus, it would even the playing field against the new Ford Ranger Raptor.
What to expect with the Gladiator Rubicon 392
If the Jeep Gladiator Rubicon 392 is on the way, then expect it to arrive with a powerful punch. The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 is equipped with a 6.2-liter V8 HEMI with 470 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque.
Because of the Gladiator’s weight and size, this engine may pump out less power. But it will still be one incredible upgrade. The Wrangler Rubicon 392 can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in about 4.0 seconds, so the truck could fly.
The 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor uses a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine with 405 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque. Its paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

The Gladiator Rubicon could show up for testing on the trails. This would give people the chance to possibly sit behind the wheel. Also, Jeep uses this event to gauge customer reactions to new concepts.
