Jeep is known for its off-road capabilities in dirt, sand, and snow, and the four-wheel drive Gladiator has no problem crossing through a bit of challenging terrain. Jeep’s introduction of a special Jeep Gladiator North Edition offers a host of features to add to these capabilities, features designed to make driving in inclement winter weather less of a hassle and more enjoyable.

Since all Jeeps are quite capable of handling snow and winter weather, the 2020 Jeep Gladiator North Edition is designed to be considerably more comfortable and make cold-weather driving more fun.

2020 Jeep Gladiator Overland North Edition features

According to MotorTrend, the Jeep North Edition package will be an option on all Jeep models as an add-on to specific trim levels instead of a standalone trim package itself.

The Gladiator will offer the North Edition trim package as an add-on to the Overland valued at a total of $4,325 but with a U.S. Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $3,325.

The Jeep Gladiator Overland North Edition is equipped with the cold weather features, technology, and equipment designed to make winter driving even more of a pleasure.

The Jeep Gladiator Overland North Edition comes standard with four or all-wheel drive and is equipped with all-season or all-terrain winter performance tires, for tackling the worst winter weather conditions.

To ensure your comfort and keep you toasty warm on the ride, the North Edition package includes Jeep’s Cold Weather Group. The group features heated seats and a heated steering wheel as well as power heated mirrors, while a remote start guarantees that you won’t have to get into an ice-cold vehicle.

In the unlikely event that you do manage to get stuck out in the elements, there are tow hooks to help you get out, and the North Edition package includes a Jeep Trail Rated kit with a 22-foot WARN 18,000-lb Tensile Strength Tow Strap.

So that you are prepared for nearly any situation, the Jeep Trail Rated kit comes complete with two WARN 3/4-Inch D-Rings, a carabiner, Jeep Branded Gloves, and a safety manual all packed away in a Jeep Branded Red Nylon Carrying Bag.

To keep you entertained on your winter excursions, the Jeep Gladiator Overland North Edition has an 8.4-Inch Uconnect Touchscreen Infotainment System with navigation and SiriusXM Travel Link Weather. Combined with a Premium Alpine Audio System, the North Edition’s Infotainment System has the quality sound that can almost make you forget the weather outside.

And to make sure the outside stays there and doesn’t damage the interior, the Gladiator Overland North Edition includes heavy-duty all-weather floor mats.

Gladiator North Edition compared to Overland and Rubicon

The top two trims of the Jeep Gladiator are the Overland, and the Rubicon with the Rubicon geared toward serious off-roading and the Overland designed for comfort and luxury. The North Edition adds another level luxury by adding features and amenities designed to add to your enjoyment and satisfaction.

The North Edition helps to ensure that you can fend off the inclement weather, and find your way, by making heated front seats as well as navigation, as opposed to the Overland and Rubicon, which offer them as optional equipment.

Not only does the North Edition add another level of comfort to one of the most comfortable pickup trucks on the market, but it also makes sure that you enjoy the ride with HD radio also included as standard equipment.
