We know that the Jeep Renegade 4xe exists, but like the Jeep Compass 4xe, it’s not in America yet. However, we may have caught wind of the Jeep Renegade 4xe and Compass finally being tested in the United States.

When will America get the Jeep Renegade 4xe?

We have the Jeep Wrangler 4xe and the Cherokee, so why don’t we have the Jeep Renegade 4xe in the United States yet? It’s already been in Europe for nearly two years, and Jeep fans are loving it.

Hopefully, the spy photo we found means that we will see the Renegade 4xe in America by the end of 2022. Both Jeeps have been covered in camouflage, which is interesting. They wouldn’t need that much material to cover the blue accent marks or the plug-in ports.

Because the front and back end of the Jeep Renegade 4xe is covered, it might feature a slight redesign. The Renegade has primarily carried the same look since its debut in 2015. It’s past time for a revamp.

Perhaps a new grille design, new headlights, and revised bumper, and new taillights would attract new buyers to the 4xe model. Having new tech and a more modern look could convince Renegade fans to upgrade to the hybrid model.

Both the Jeep Renegade and Compass 4xe have a 1.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that’s paired with two eclectic motors. They combine to create 190 hp in the Longitude and Limited trims and 240 hp in the Trailhawk trim.

According to critics, the Renegade 4xe can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in about 7.1 seconds. The instant torque provides a peppier acceleration and smooth transmission shifts. Plus, it’s pretty efficient.

On a single charge, the Renegade 4xe provides an electric range of about 25 miles. Then it switches to hybrid mode. During testing, it achieved about 60.9 MPGe on average. Electricity is generated with regenerative braking. E-Coasting also charges the battery during deceleration.

Driving in Hybrid Mode provides the most amount of power, Electric Mode doesn’t generate any emissions, and the E-Save mode maintains the battery charge.

What features does the Renegade 4xe have?

The Jeep Renegade 4xe plug-in hybrid has the fourth-generation Uconnect Nav infotainment system. It’s displayed on an 8.4-inch screen. We think a larger screen could make its way into the 2022 or 2023 Renegade. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included.

With the Selec-Terrain traction control system, the Renegade 4xe is one of the most off-road-ready SUVs you can buy. There are driving modes for Auto, Snow, Sand, Mud, and Sport. Each mode provides the best performance for the related conditions.

The refined interior is spacious and comfortable with a blend of high quality and durable materials. You can easily customize the Renegade to be a comfortable daily driver or to go adventuring in the elements.

We hope we get the Renegade 4xe in America soon. It enhanced the Renegade by being more efficient and sportier to drive. Plus, this little SUV is even better equipped for off-roading challenges.
