If you have been mourning the losses of beastly V8 engines, you have a little extra time to say goodbye. The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 391 was supposed to bite the dust after 2024, but it lives on with incredible power for at least one more year.

The 2025 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 Final Edition lives on

You haven’t missed your chance to get a Wrangler with tons of V8 power. The 2025 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 Final Edition is back for another year.

This brings hope for the Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat and Ram 1500 TRX to make it another year as well, but no signs indicate that this could happen.

Anyways, this could be the last year to get the Wrangler Rubicon 392, as Stellantis goes greener with new electric powertrains.

However, the SRT Hellcat was only supposed to be available for one year and then returned to take more people’s money. Some folks were mad about it because their SUVs were supposed to be exclusive.

The Wrangler Rubicon 392 got an extension due to popular demand. When the send-off was announced Stellantis received calls, comments, and letters in protest. It will be interesting to see if current owners make a fuss.

Plus, the 2024 model has an MSRP of $91,545. This price doesn’t include the destination fee or dealership markup, so people must be willing to shell out massive sums of cash for this beast.

Perhaps the Wrangler Rubicon 391 is simply irresistible thanks to its supercharged 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine with 470 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in about 4.0 seconds.

It also rides on 35-inch BFGoodrich T/A KO2 tires, an available 8,000 lb Warn winch front bumper, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless phone mirroring, built-in navigation, an in-windshield radio antenna, extra sound dampening materials, and a stronger Dana 44 axle.

It’s unclear if the price of the Rubicon 392 Final Edition will increase, but some 2024 models are still available. Stay tuned for updates.
