“Tonight!” Car enthusiasts can almost hear Jeremy Clarkson talking over images of the upcoming Top Gear episode. Well, after 22 years as a trio, Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May will give their last collective car-y performance. That’s right; The Grand Tour: One For The Road may very well close a decades-long petrol-powered partnership.

Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May head to Zimbabwe in their final special: “The Grand Tour: One For The Road”

Irreverently sliding a raucous Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat around the route of the original “Grand Tour” in Italy. Driving a handbuilt car across the almost Martian landscape of Mongolia. And everything in between. That’s the sort of thing viewers have come to expect from Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May on The Grand Tour.

Well, as the crew gets older, they’ve made it clear that there is an expiration date for the jet-setting car content. And now we have it. The Grand Tour: One For The Road will debut on Amazon Prime on the 13th of September, 2024.

According to the Daily Mail, the final chapter of the trio’s adventures will take them to Zimbabwe. Better yet, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May will round out their time with Amazon with three cars they’ve always wanted to own.

Clarkson looks to be riding in a Lancia Montecarlo, a Pininfarina-designed Italian stunner. As for “Mr. Slowly” James May, a purple Triumph Stag. And Richard Hammond will hit the road in a muscular-looking Ford Capri 3.0.

If it’s anything like the close of season three, it’ll be an understandably emotional affair. Regardless of the feels, the most famous automotive trio in the business will hang up their keys after the September 13th worldwide debut of the series’ final chapter.
