The Kia EV6 Is Producing Shocking Sales Numbers
Kia is ready to charge toward the electric future with new electric vehicle options for consumers. The South Korean automaker’s sales numbers are down year over year in America, but EV sales have skyrocketed. The Kia EV6 electric SUV proves that Kia will be a major player in the race to produce the most popular electric SUV.
The Kia EV6 is selling like hot cakes
Pass the syrup because Kia’s flashy new electric SUV is sellin’ like hotcakes. Kia’s sales have decreased year over year, but the company is pleased with how quickly its new electric SUV is selling. The electric SUV vehicle segment is still very new in America. Automakers are rolling out new competitors, and no model has been out long enough to assert total market dominance over the electric SUV space.
The Tesla Model Y may have been a favorite among consumers, but it is no longer the best electric SUV option for several reasons. Instead, models like the Ford Mustang Mach-E electric SUV have grabbed the attention of consumers. Being practical isn’t enough anymore for consumers since there are now more options to choose from. By 2024 there will be at least six different electric SUVs on the market in America from automakers like Tesla, Volkswagen, Ford, Toyota, Subaru, and Kia.
To truly shine in the electric SUV vehicle segment, an electric SUV needs an attractive exterior, welcoming interior, and impressive specs. The Kia EV6 has all of the above. According to InsideEVs, Kia has already sold 3,000 new EV6 models. There’s clearly something about the electric SUV that has captivated buyers.
The 2022 Kia EV6 has the potential to lead its class
The 2022 Kia EV6 starts at $40,900. After federal electric vehicle tax credits, consumers could pay $33,400 for the electric SUV. The EV6 is more affordable than many of its rivals, including the popular Mustang Mach-E. It isn’t just affordable. The EV6 is also practical as well.
The electric SUV has a 232-mile driving range. Long-range models will get a whopping 310 miles of driving range. Between the EV6’s affordability, practical driving range, and attractive exterior styling, the electric SUV has what it takes to rise to the top of its vehicle segment.
If pricing, range, and appearance aren’t enough to sell you on an EV6, Kia is running a special deal on the new vehicle. This deal is extremely attractive to Americans who are sick of paying high gas prices.
Kia is offering free EV6 charging
Kia has partnered with Volkswagen’s Electrify America electric vehicle charging network to provide consumers with free charging for the EV6 for a limited time. The company is offering 1,000 kilowatt-hours of free charging, to be exact. This works out to about 3,400 miles of range.
Based on the average American annual driving range, consumers should be able to enjoy about four months of free charging after buying a new EV6. Imagine going from spending hundreds of dollars on gas a month to spending nothing at all to refuel your vehicle for four months. Kia’s deal on the EV6 is truly a shocker.
