The entire auto industry has taken a massive hit throughout 2020. As a result, carmakers are more anxious than ever to get new cars rolling off of lots. With SUVs being some of the most popular vehicles on sale, it makes sense that they would be amongst some of the most discounted. Given that the 2020 models did not sell, the 2021 models have to break records. CarsDirect compiled a list of all of the brand-new SUVs currently available to lease for less than $300 a month.

2021 Kia Seltos LX AWD – $189 per month

Less than one year after its official unveiling, the Kia Seltos has begun to receive massive incentives. Luckily for potential buyers, the small SUV is available in two trim levels for the same $189 per month amount. For those who require all-wheel-drive due to snowy winters, the Kia Seltos LX AWD would be an excellent choice.

The second of the two available is the Seltos S with it’s sportier styling and front-wheel-drive configuration. The current deal for both trim levels is for a 36-month lease with $2,699 due at signing.

2021 Toyota RAV4 LE – $299 per month

The Toyota RAV4 is one of the best selling SUVs in the United States for a reason. Despite it already being an affordable and practical option, it excels with its elegant styling and legendary reliability. Despite its massive sales success, Toyota is currently running great incentives for both the 2020 and 2021 models.

The 36-month lease deal requires $1,999 due at signing for both the 2020 and 2021 models. The primary differentiator is that the 2020 model will have a $10 cheaper monthly payment of $289. While there are plenty of lease specials nationally, the most affordable $299 per month figure is only available in California.

2021 Honda Pilot EX AWD – $289 per month

Unlike with the RAV4, Honda’s $289 per month deal for its Pilot SUV is available nationally. The Pilot is the largest SUV currently manufactured by Honda and is available in two or three-row configurations. The best part of this lease deal is that it is available for the mid-range Pilot EX trim level.

Opting for the higher trim level brings along crucial features such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility and an Intelligent Traction Management system that adapts to various surfaces. Like all of the other lease deals discussed, Honda requires a 36-month term with 2,799 due at signing.

Expect SUV incentives to become more common

If there’s anything third-quarter sales have shown us so far, it’s that car sales have slowed down dramatically, even for SUVs. As 2021 models begin to receive more incentives, it may be advantageous to hold off on any new car purchases until the deals become genuinely irresistible.

2020 vehicle sales will be a sore spot in an otherwise booming auto industry. Carmakers will be doing everything in its power to sell as many 2021 models as possible, a massive win for consumers.
