If you’re interested in a reliable luxury car, you may be shocked by the current number of choices on the market. Lexus is once again leading the pack in terms of reliability. In a recent study, Lexus took first and second place, and here’s why.

The Lexus IS 350 tops the list of reliable luxury cars

iSeeCars thinks that the 2021 Lexus IS 350 is the top luxury car on the market currently. The review site gave the IS 350 a score of 8.9 out of 10. It received praise for its V6 engine, which generates 311 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque.

 The IS 350 comes with a wide range of standard safety features such as dusk sensing headlamps, emergency braking assist, 4-wheel ABS, blind spot and lane departure warnings accident avoidance system, lane keep assist, and rear cross-traffic alert. 

It comes equipped with an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard. If you want more options, there is a sunroof, 10.3-inch touchscreen, and surround-view camera system complete with parking sensors.

The average price for a new Lexus IS 350 is extremely affordable for a luxury vehicle. It starts at $42,510 and tops out at $45,760. The average cost of a used Lexus IS 350 that is three years old is $42,806.

The Lexus ES 350 is another reliable car

The Lexus ES 350 came in second, and it was close. Both received a score of 8.9 out of 10 from iSeeCars. 

There are two engines you can choose from on the 2021 Lexus ES 350. One is a front-wheel drive V6 that delivers 302 hp and 267 lb-ft of torque. The other is a four-cylinder with AWD. 

The interior is very roomy, and it has a comfortable drive. There are also several safety features such as adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and road sign detection. Many drivers will be pleased to know there is a rear-view camera to help with backing up.

Android Auto and Apple CarPlay come standard, as well as Sirius XM Radio. You can easily operate these features on a massive 12-inch screen.

If you’re interested in a new ES 350, it has a range of $41,340 – $50,130, which is slightly higher than the IS 350. The average price of a three-year-old ES 350 is $42,058.

The Mercedes-Benz S-Class cracked the top three

In third place, we have the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. iSeeCars awarded it a score of 8.7 out of 10, which means it just narrowly missed being first or second place. 

There are several engine options available to you on the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. The standard option is a 362 hp 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6. The twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 with 603 hp is the top engine.

As expected, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class is considerably higher than the Lexus IS 350 and ES 350. A new model will set you back anywhere from $112,650 to $119,550. A model that is three years old has an average cost of $99,989.

In terms of reliability, it’s difficult to top a Lexus. If you aren’t interested in a sedan, then there are plenty of SUV models you can choose from.
