Lifted 750 hp Escalade: How They Should Come From Cadillac
There’s no reason that Cadillac needs to keep to the Escalade script. At the end of the day, it’s still an SUV, and SUVs were made for off-road shenanigans. Or pool parties. So, while the Escalade is supposed to be an urban, VIP Luxo barge, Suburban add-on, why does it have to be? This listing from 360 Exotics in Austin, Texas, shows a 2017 Escalade outfitted the right way, and it could be yours. Lifted, 750 hp, here’s how they should come from Cadillac.
The lift comes via an adjustable Cognito Motorsports kit. Fox Racing shocks replace the stockers front and back. Custom 22-inch billet wheels are shod with 37-inch Fuel off-road rubber. Everything has been neatly modified and finished with a high degree of detail rather than chrome and color.
The point of this Escalade exercise is building on what it is: a Cadillac
Much of the exterior has been left in its stock mode because the point of this exercise is to build from it being an Escalade rather than obscuring it. There are some added bits of chrome trim adding a touch of conservative bling.
Under the hood is a whole different story. A stroked 6.2-liter LT1 has some added oomph with a 2.9L Whipple supercharger. Cooling if off is an air-to-water intercooler. LS7 pushrods, Mahle pistons, CNC-ported heads, LT4 injectors, and the stroked Texas Speed cam make up the internals. All of this spins an eight-speed automatic transmission with new clutches. A custom driveshaft spins the 4.10 geared rear end.
It’s an Escalade so it already comes with creature-comfort cool
The inside continues the custom theme. A DVD entertainment system, heated and cooled leather seats and a premium Bose audio system kicks things off. It’s a Cadillac so the interior is not going to need too much in the way of creature comforts.
With only 8,663 miles on the ticker, this is practically like a new ride. And listed at $68,988 it’s almost $10,000 under the list price for a base 2020 Slade. So you’re getting a modified custom off-road one-of-a-kind attention-getter. Not a bad way to go your off-roading ways if so inclined.
Shouldn’t a 750hp Escalade be abused once in a while?
