One of the most entertaining conversations on Reddit happened when a professional limousine driver of 25 years offered to answer all questions. You can check out the thread [embedded below] to find out whether Conan O’Brien or Michael Buble is nicer, just how desperate Green Day’s stalkers can get, and which diva the driver found most attractive. But when asked for the “craziest/weirdest” story he had, the driver told a tale that had nothing to do with celebrities at all.

One time the driver had a basic five passenger fare. Nothing involved or crazy, just drive them around for a while. So he loaded them all into the limousine and took off. Now, the divider between the passengers and driver was down so he glanced in the mirror from time to time to check on them. Then suddenly he realized there were only four people in the back of his car.

Naturally, the driver had seen people lay down–even fall asleep. And he’d had high school grads dare one another to “surf the limo,” opening the sunroof and hanging outside. So not being able to see all five passengers wasn’t completely unprecedented. But as he continued to steal glances at the back, all seemed normal and calm.

“I kept driving while asking myself where could that 5th person be?”

As the night wore on, the driver ran out of guesses. Until the moment he figured it all out.

“There he was, lying flat on top of the roof of the limo gazing at the stars.”

Stargazing? From atop a limo? That is about the oddest–and coldest–way to enjoy a car you’ve rented that I can imagine.

Obviously the stunt was wildly dangerous. The driver put it bluntly, “Could have been dangerous for him if I had to jam on my brakes for some reason.”

He never explained how that story ended. But considering he never let any of the teens hang out the sunroof, I imagine the customer got a stern talking to. You can see the post embedded below:
