We have been anxiously awaiting the official debut of the Audi Q4 e-tron, and now we are just days away. On April 14th, 7 pm Eastern European Central Time, Audi will finally be debuting their first all-electric compact car, the Q4 e-tron, and with all of the hype surrounding the release of the new vehicle, and all of the hints the brand has teased about interior luxury and performance, we can’t help but get more and more excited as the release date for the newest Audi officially nears closer.

High expectations for the Audi Q4 e-tron

Audi has done a lot to keep the Audi Q4 e-tron under wraps, but not without giving us some fun teasers to keep us interested. With the release of the Audi e-tron GT, many fans of the brand were thoroughly impressed with how well the final production model matched up to our expectations based on the concept renderings that were released, and it gave us a few hints about what we should expect from the Audi Q4 e-tron, too.

An electric compact SUV option

SUVs have quickly grown in popularity over the past several years, appealing to a wide ranger of drivers, including families, commuters, adventurers, and first-time drivers. Along with that, electric options have become more and more popular as well, and as they become more common, buyers grow to have more and more confidence in buying electric cars. So, it only makes sense that manufacturers like Audi would work towards producing an option that provides both, creating the Audi Q4 e-tron, an all-electric SUV option, and it is set to start production for a 2022 model year after its final release begins later this week.

All we know is that we don’t know much

Audi has been reluctant to share too much information on the Audi Q4 e-tron. So far we know that we can expect the car to have two electric motors that provide the vehicle with all-wheel drive capabilities, a staple among the brand’s performance luxury cars. It is reported to have around 300 hp but there have been no hints from Audi yet on what to expect price-wise from the vehicle. All in all, we are excited to see what the SUV has to offer in its final production model.
