Mazda Scores Its Sixth Consecutive ‘Best Car Brand’ Award
Mazda announced just last week that U.S. News & World Report has named it the “Best Car Brand” for the sixth consecutive year in a row. Mazda was able to take home the title of ‘Best Car Brand’ based on the strength of its class-leading Mazda3, Mazda6, and the MX-5 Miata. According to U.S. News & World Report, each model among Mazda’s lineup offers “superior performance and handling and feature premium, quality, and upscale interiors.”
Mazda took home the ‘Best Car Brand’ award
Mazda scored its sixth consecutive ‘Best Car Brand’ award thanks in part to its superb performance and upscale interiors, said U.S. News & World Report. Highly respected models like the 2020 Mazda3, Mazda6, and the MX-5 Miata certainly helped too.
“Mazda won the Best Car Brand award due to the strength of the Mazda3, Mazda6 and MX-5 Miata,” said U.S. News & World Report Executive Editor Jamie Page Deaton. “All three models have top-notch performance that puts an emphasis on direct, sporty handling, as well as quality interiors that are more upscale than their price tags might suggest.”
The 2020 Mazda3
The Mazda3 was last redesigned in 2019 and is available as both a sedan and a hatchback. U.S. News & World Report says its manual and its available six-speed automatic transmission provide smooth shifts and dynamic handling. The Mazda3 is also available with all-wheel drive, which U.S. News & World Report says is a rarity among its segment. According to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), the 2020 Mazda3 is a Top Safety Pick+ too. Add in its copious amounts of cargo space, and it’s no wonder the 2020 Mazda3 was able to help the automaker hold down its ‘Best Car Brand’ title.
The 2020 Mazda6
The 2020 Mazda6 is another worthwhile option among Mazda’s lineup. According to U.S. News & World Report, this Mazda “outshines its rivals with a smooth ride and nimble handling.” That’s not all that this Mazda sedan has going for it either. Its interior is stocked to the brim with premium materials, and U.S. News & World Report says that its seats are pretty comfortable too. Much like the 2020 Mazda3, the 2020 Mazda6 has also been named a Top Safety Pick+ by the IIHS.
The 2020 Mazda MX-5 Miata
If you’ve got your heart set on something a bit sportier, U.S News & World Report says that the “MX-5 Miata has precise handling and a four-cylinder engine that helps it accelerate quickly.” It also boasts an upscale interior that’s brimming with standard features, including a 7-inch touchscreen display featuring the Mazda Connect infotainment system.
Does this mean you need a Mazda in your life?
Mazda obviously has a lot going for it. It’s been named the ‘Best Car Brand’ by U.S. News & World Report for six consecutive years. Its lineup features multiple vehicles that would make for a great daily driver too. But does that mean that you need a Mazda in your life? Well, if you plan on buying a new car anytime soon, a shiny new Mazda is definitely worth considering.
