You’re Missing Out on the 2020 Kia Cadenza Entry-Level Luxury Sedan

The Cadenza comes with all of the luxuries and standard safety features you'd expect from any entry level luxury car, and excels in offering a comfortable, smooth ride. The biggest appeal to the car is definitely the updated styling, which is modern and aggressive, and unlike most other vehicle's in the brand's lineup.

The 2020 Kia Cadenza isn’t the most popular entry-level luxury sedan on the road — but that might just be part of its appeal. Discontinued after a redesign, the 2020 model year is the only one of its kind, with updates to the styling, features, and technology, without having a market flooded with similar models within the same generation. If having a somewhat less common entry-level luxury sedan isn’t enough, the 2020 Kia Cadenza has plenty more to offer to get your attention.

The 2020 Kia Cadenza starts with the base model packages, referred to as the Cadenza Technology, with a sticker price of $38,885. This pricing isn’t necessarily competitive against other more established luxury brand sedans, but with Kia making a strong competitor in other market segments, it wasn’t unjustifiably priced. The base model itself was well endowed with features and tech, meaning buyers of the 2020 Kia Cadenza could expect:

  • Panoramic sunroof
  • Leather interior
  • Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
  • Keyless entry and ignition
  • Wireless charging pad for smartphones
  • Power-adjustable, heated front seats
  • 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment screen

If you wanted to upgrade to the only other available trim, you could expect an MSRP of $44,955 for the 2020 Kia Cadenza Limited. With the Limited trim, you get all of the features of the base model Technology, as well as:

  • Heated windshield wipers
  • Power-adjustable steering wheel
  • Heated and ventilated front seats
  • Heated rear seats
  • Heated steering wheel
  • 360-degree birds-eye view camera
  • Harmon Kardon 12-speaker audio system
  • Upgraded leather seats

The cancelation may make the car even more appealing

2020 was the refresh year for the Kia Cadenza, meaning there aren’t a shocking amount of features lacking from the completely updated Cadenza. But, there isn’t a 2021 model year to compare it to as it was discontinued at the end of 2020, making it the final production model for the Cadenza and, as the newly redesigned model, slightly unique. It doesn’t share all that much of the more modern and iconic styling we’ve seen from Kia, setting it apart from other Kia models, as well. With only one production year for the latest styling, it is far from the most common entry-level luxury sedan on the road — which is appealing to many buyers.

Standard safety features of the 2020 Kia Cadenza

Along with all of the luxuries and modern styling upgrades of the 2020 Kia Cadenza, the entry-level sedan also offers all of the latest safety features buyers are looking for. This includes:

  • Adaptive cruise control
  • Automatic emergency braking
  • Blind spot monitoring
  • Rear automatic braking

The Cadenza comes with all of the luxuries and standard safety features you’d expect from any entry-levely luxury car, and excels in offering a comfortable, smooth ride. The biggest appeal to the car is definitely the updates styling, which is modern and aggressive, and unlike most other vehicle’s in the brand’s lineup. Because it’s been discontinued and there was only one production year post-redesign, it’s less common than many other entry-level luxury sedans, giving it an added edge over the competition.
