Mitsubishi Motors Offers Three Months Payment Relief
From March to the beginning of April, more than 900,000 people have been affected by the global impacts of coronavirus (COVID-19). Hundreds of thousands of households are financially affected with lost wages unable to pay for bills, groceries, or make car payments. Mitsubishi Motors is doing its part to support vehicle owners and employees in this trying time of COVID-19.
Mitsubishi Motors is offering customers three months of payment relief
As the situation around COVID-19 continues to change by the day, Mitsubishi Motors North America is providing customers with easy access to the resources, support, and information.
Many automotive companies have stepped up to help their customers through these hard times. Car dealers such as Kia, Subaru, Acura, Mitsubishi, and more are helping families during this time of need.
Current Mitsubishi Owners
Current Mitsubishi vehicle owners, who financed through Ally Financial, and who are experiencing economic struggle can contact Ally. Payment deferral options are available for up to 120 days. Customers are encouraged to visit the website as call times can be unusually long.
Incentives for new Mitsubishi owners
New Mitsubishi Motors customers can also qualify for a 90-day deferral payment plan to aid during this crisis when financing through Ally Financial as well. Local dealerships can discuss credit ratings and more based on individual eligibility and conditions.
If you currently own or lease a vehicle for up to 60 months, Mitsubishi is offering 0% interest financing. This offer is available for all of the 2019 and 2020 cars and SUVs. This will be in addition to a cash bonus of $1,250.
Other options include qualifying for a $3K rebate upon leasing or purchasing the 2019 Eclipse Cross, Outlander, and Outlander Sport SUV models. These options are only available until April 30, 2020.
The safety and well-being of employees have been a top priority for Mitsubishi as well. As of Monday, March 16, all Mitsubishi Motors North America headquarters and regional team members are working remotely from a home office for their safety and the safety and well-being of their families.
Small Batch – Big Impact Mitsubishi’s Commitment to Community Involvement
Community involvement is not a new concept for Mitsubishi. Last year they launched a new corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, known as “Small Batch – Big Impact.” This is the philosophy under which the company and its dealer partners plan to redefine the term “CUV” to mean “Community Utility Vehicle”. The CUV program will create a series of vehicle loans to small nonprofits and start-up social benefit corporations to help support their local communities.
“‘Small Batch’ is our new marketing vision, and we said at the outset that it would go beyond advertising to influence every aspect of our business in the U.S.,” said Kimberley Gardiner, vice president and chief marketing officer, MMNA.
