The Ram 1500 TRX is the latest wacky creation from the horsepower junkies over at SRT. With over 700 hp on tap, the 1500 TRX can reach 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds, despite its massive size. The 1500 TRX‘s suspension is the star of the show, featuring off-road-tuned suspension capable of handling jumps. As if the standard Ram wasn’t wild enough, FCA just announced that Mopar now offers over 100 available accessories, allowing buyers to customize their TRX’s to no end.

The Ram 1500 TRX starts at $70,095 without options

Big power numbers often come with a hefty price tag, and the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX is no exception. Although the TRX’s $70,095 price tag is far from affordable, it doesn’t need to be, it’s a 6,349-pound toy. While there aren’t different trim levels for the TRX, there are varying equipment levels. The Level 1 Equipment Group costs $3,420, Level 2 costs $7,920, and there is an optional Launch Edition option for an additional $12,150. Add up all of the available options, and a fully-loaded Ram 1500 TRX costs just over $90,000.

These equipment levels are essential to note because although they are expensive, most of the upgrades they offer are for the interior, adding more tech and luxury features. The optional extras also don’t alter the TRX’s 6.2-liter supercharged V8 and its 702-hp output. To significantly change the TRX’s appearance, you’ll have to turn to Mopar.

Mopar accessories are plentiful, but not cheap

Much like the Ram 1500 TRX’s starting price, the optional extras from Mopar aren’t cheap. In their announcement, FCA highlighted some new accessories for the 1500 TRX and their respective price tags.

The RamBar costs $1,195 and mounts directly to the TRX’s bed, providing the perfect place to mount the off-road LED lights, which cost $595. If you want to give your TRX a trophy-truck look, then the bed-mounted spare-tire carrier for $995 can make that happen. If the standard lower side rails aren’t robust enough, Mopar offers the off-road rock rails for $1,195.

From there on, the list of accessories continues past 100 in total. Although they are expensive, the truck itself is plenty costly. Given that, in most cases, they serve to add to the TRX’s capabilities, they may be worth the price.

The Mopar accessories come with a factory warranty

While critics will say that they can get the same parts for cheaper in the aftermarket, the Mopar parts are backed by a manufacturer warranty. Furthermore, you won’t void the warranty on your $90,000 TRX by fitting aftermarket extras.

FCA did not specify if these new parts would be available directly at dealerships. In the past, FCA’s dealer network allowed customers to purchase these optional parts and even have them installed before taking delivery.
