Chevrolet Spark

The 2020 Chevy Spark is a compact car with a lot to offer for the low price of $13,220. This sparky car offers all of the safety features you would expect for cars in much higher price ranges, such as forward collision alert and automatic emergency braking in certain models. Available options also include a rear-view camera and rear parking assist paired with an infotainment system that can integrate Apple Carplay and Android Auto. Toss that in with 27.2 cubic feet of cargo space and this car has plenty to offer for a low price.

The exterior styling of the Spark hasn’t had a complete update in several generations. In fact, you may be hard-pressed to tell the difference between a newer model and a brand new one.

Mitsubishi Mirage

While the Mitsubishi Mirage is only $13,995 it isn’t favored by many drivers. A slow 78hp motor mixed with delayed response to the brakes and a plastic interior and it seems like this car should rank pretty low on your interest list. The lack of power and luxury is made up for in great gas mileage, almost a full 42mpg on the highway and up to 36mpg in the city.

Regardless of the low price, the Mirage still has great amenities to offer, including Bluetooth music and calling, Apple Carplay and Android Auto. While it may not be a Lamborghini, you can be confident in knowing you got a great car for your daily drive.

Nissan Versa

The Nissan Versa is a small and spunky sedan that can be purchased brand new for about $14,730. While the car’s small 1.6L motor only provides 122hp it is reliable and fuel-efficient, boasting 32mpg in the city and up to 40mpg on the highway. While it’s one of the smallest cars in this year’s Nissan line-up, it offers plenty of passenger and cargo space, making it great for your daily commute.

Hyundai Accent

The Hyundai Accent is a popular sedan choice for many commuters and new drivers. Starting at a base model price of $15,295 the Accent offers a sporty design for a fraction of the cost of many brand new cars. While the 120hp motor isn’t going to make this a track car, the gas mileage and storage capacity makes this a great choice for a daily commuter car.

When it comes to having a reliable car with great gas mileage, you can get what you want without the big price tag.
