The Kia Niro may sound like a surprising name topping this list of affordable hybrid SUVs, but this Kia offers a ton of features and style at an unbelievably low price of just $26,490. The Niro may be small compared to other options on this list, but that small size is quickly forgotten when you see that this Kia is capable of reaching fuel economy ratings of 49 mpg to 53 mpg combined.

Safety was a focus for Kia with the Niro as it comes standard with forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind spot warning, rear cross-traffic warning, lane centering assistance, and lane keep assist.
