What makes Mr. Bean’s Aston Martin V8 Vantage Zagato so special? 

According to Silodrome, this is likely the most powerful and fastest example of an Aston Martin V8 Vantage Zagato in the world. This may sound dramatic, but it isn’t. After Mr. Bean (Sorry. I Can’t help it) bought it second-hand, he sent it to Aston Martin Works to turn it into a race car. 

He took his six-figure, second-hand V8 Vantage and converted it into a full, race-spec car to compete in the AMOC C2 Class “Mildly Modified” category. 

They started the conversion by ripping out the fancy factory interior to save weight. After that, the engine, brakes, and suspension were all rebuilt to be as efficient as the racing-class rules would allow. The engine now makes a ferocious 482 hp and 418 lb-ft of torque. The rebuild even swapped out factory body panels and glass for lighter-weight materials, ultimately dropping 253 lbs. (Mr. Bean did not come here to play with you.)

Mr. Bean raced the car regularly for 10 years before selling it to its next owner, who is now offering it for sale through Dylan Miles. Rowan Atkinson’s Aston Martin V8 Vantage Zagato is now for sale again, but the new owner restored the interior to be more friendly as a daily driver.
