How Much Does a Fully Loaded 2024 Honda Pilot Cost?
The Honda Pilot is one of the most trusted named in midsize three-row SUVs. It’s one of the SUVs that pioneered this segment and is still one of the best. The Pilot was just fully redesigned for the 2023 model. It continues into the 2024 model year as a class leader in a competitive segment.
Let’s take a look at the cost of the 2024 Honda Pilot and what you can expect to pay for a fully loaded model.
How much does the 2024 Honda Pilot cost?
The 2024 Honda Pilot has a starting MSRP of $37,090. That gets you the base LX model. Like every Pilot, it’s powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine making 285 horsepower. It returns up to 22 combined mpg, according to the EPA.
A generous list of standard features on the Pilot LX includes 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, hill descent control, front and second-row USB ports, a 7-inch color touchscreen, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay. Every Pilot also comes standard with the Honda Sensing safety tech suite. This bundles automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, a multi-angle backup camera, and adaptive cruise control.
Upgrading to the Sport trim ($39,600) gets you 20-inch wheels, roof rails, LED fog lights, heated front seats, a power driver’s seat, tri-zone automatic climate control, and one-touch second-row seats. The nicer EX-L trim starts at $42,400. It upgrades the Pilot with a 9-inch screen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, nine-speaker audio, leather seats, a memory driver’s seat, second-row sunshades, a power liftgate, parking sensors, and a wireless charging pad.
The upscale Touring trim begins at $46,900. For that price, you get a panoramic moonroof, a Bose premium audio system, navigation, a hands-free power liftgate, a stable second-row middle seat, third-row USB ports, and the CabinTalk PA system.
The most off-road-ready version of the Pilot is the TrailSport, starting at $48,800. It has exclusive 18-inch wheels with all-terrain tires, an off-road suspension system, skid plates, a TrailWatch camera system, standard AWD, and synthetic leather seats with orange stitching.
How much is a fully loaded 2024 Honda Pilot?
The Elite trim sits at the top of the 2024 Honda Pilot model range, starting at $52,480. At the top trim level, you get everything in the Touring trim plus standard AWD, a head-up display, a 10.2-inch digital gauge cluster, heated and ventilated front seats, and heated second-row seats.
There are only a few factory options for the Pilot Elite. One is premium paint for $455. The three premium paint options are Platinum White Pearl, Radiant Red Metallic, and Sonic Gray Pearl. There are also three premium wheel options, all costing $2,100.
Add premium paint and wheels to the Pilot Elite, and the price comes to $56,410, including the $1,375 destination fee. Additionally, several dealer-installed accessories are available. These include roof rail cross bars ($255), running boards ($600-$730), a trailer hitch ($565), and even a tent ($408).
Is a Pilot Elite a sensible purchase?
Spending more than $50k on an SUV might sound like a lot. However, the 2024 Honda Pilot’s pricing and content align with other fully-loaded SUVs in this class. For example, the Kia Telluride SX Prestige, Ford Explorer Platinum, and Toyota Grand Highlander Platinum all have starting prices over $50,000 as well. The Honda Pilot Elite is a solid choice in premium three-row SUVs without jumping to a more expensive luxury brand.
