How Much Does a Fully Loaded 2024 Lexus RX Cost?
The Lexus RX is America’s best-selling luxury SUV, and it’s not hard to see why. This midsize SUV strikes a perfect balance of luxury, value, and practicality for many drivers.
Let’s look at the cost of the Lexus RX and what you can expect to pay for a fully loaded model. Multiple hybrid options are available for the RX, but today, we’ll focus on the standard, non-hybrid RX 350 outfit.
The entry-level Lexus RX 350
The 2024 Lexus RX starts at $49,950. That’s for the base RX 350 trim with front-wheel drive. On most trims, all-wheel drive is a $1,600 option. Every RX 350 is powered by a 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine rated at 275 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque. According to the EPA, it gets a combined fuel economy rating of 25 mpg with FWD and 24 mpg with AWD.
The base model of the RX is very well-equipped for the money. Standard features include LED headlights and fog lights, 19-inch alloy wheels, NuLuxe faux leather interior trim, heated and power-adjustable front seats, a power tilt/telescopic steering column, multi-zone climate control, ambient interior lighting, push-button start, and paddle shifters.
The standard infotainment system in the Lexus RX has a 9.8-inch touchscreen, navigation, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM, and a 12-speaker audio system. The standard Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 safety tech suite bundles automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, road sign assist, automatic high beams, and adaptive cruise control.
The Premium trim starts at $52,100 and adds excellent features like a power moonroof, ventilated front seats, and a wireless charging pad. The popular Premium+ trim further enhances the luxury with a starting price of $53,950 and features a 14-inch screen, genuine leather seats, and thematic ambient illumination.
The F Sport Handling model, starting at $58,550, adds a sportier look and feel to the Lexus RX. For starters, it’s the only trim of the RX 350 with standard all-wheel drive. It also comes with a sporty appearance package inside and out with black trim and black 21-inch wheels. You also get upgraded brakes and suspension, F Sport seats with enhanced bolsters, performance-inspired instrumentation, and more.
How much does a fully loaded 2024 Lexus RX cost?
The top Luxury trim of the RX 350 starts at $59,080. Even in the top trim, the RX offers a lot of bang for the buck at under $60k. Standard features include 21-inch wheels with a dark metallic finish, a panoramic sunroof, a semi-aniline leather interior, 10-way power front seats, reclining rear outboard seats, Ultrasuede interior door trim, and a head-up display. All-wheel drive is still a $1,600 option.
In addition to AWD, the Luxury trim has several options available. The Convenience Package ($1,670) adds a surround-view camera, traffic jam assist, and advanced parking assist. Also, a Technology Package ($475) adds a digital key and a digital rearview mirror. Individual options include a windshield wiper de-icer ($100), a tow package with a hands-free power liftgate ($870), premium triple-beam LED headlights ($1,565), and a Mark Levinson 21-speaker audio system ($1,160).
When you add every option, including the most expensive premium paint option (Copper Crest for $595), the total cost of a loaded RX 350 comes to $67,115. That includes the $1,350 destination fee that applies to all RX models.
Is the Lexus RX 350 Luxury worth it?
For most buyers, one of the lower trims of the RX 350 is a better value than the Luxury option. The Premium+ trim is the most popular, likely due to its balance of luxury and value. However, a fully loaded 2024 Lexus RX Luxury model is a posh luxury SUV. We wouldn’t blame you for buying it if it fits within your budget.
