The 2024 Lincoln Nautilus Premiere has the essentials for a subcompact SUV
The 2024 Lincoln Nautilus Premiere starts at $50,415, a $5,590 increase over the cheapest 2023 Nautilus model. According to Lincoln, the Premiere trim promises more than its previous model with a standard 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, which is also available in a hybrid. The 2.0 engine provides 250 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque. The hybrid option has a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine and a 100kW motor hooked to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Combined, the hybrid Nautilus Premiere delivers 310 hp. The manufacturer says the hybrid costs an extra $1,500.
Inside, Lincoln reports that it aims for a “sanctuary” theme and has renamed the base trim to Premiere to highlight the luxurious nature of its interior. Owners have two 24-inch screens that span the entire width of the dashboard. The navigation panel, driver’s instrument cluster, and weather information are accessible from this 48-inch display. Below the massive screen, drivers have another 11.1-inch touchscreen infotainment panel that is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The infotainment system also comes preloaded with multiple Google applications.
The base Nautilus model will also have an ActiveGlide, a semi-autonomous highway driving feature the manufacturer calls BlueCruise. The feature allows drivers to access Lane Change Assist to change lanes when the car system senses slow-moving traffic ahead. The new BlueCruise technology also includes more advanced lane centering. While the 2024 Nautilus will have new LED headlights and taillights, each trim will also have a signature lighting element.
The 2024 Lincoln Nautilus Black Label has all the bells and whistles
The Black Label is the top trim of the 2024 Lincoln Nautilus and is better equipped than the Premiere model. Lincoln reports that the new Black Label sprinkles in tons of luxury and more exclusive features. Starting at $74,465, the 2023 Nautilus Black Label model is $7,220 more than the previous top trim. The most noticeable upgrades are the programmable scent system and the Revel Ultima 3D audio system with 28 speakers. The programmable scent system allows drivers to personalize the cabin’s fragrance from three aromas: Mystic Forest, Ozone Azure, and Violet Cashmere.
Lincoln says Black Label users will also have a massive 22-inch wheel and a Redwood upholstery exclusive to the trim. While all trims have heated and ventilated front seats, a heated second row is only available in the Black Label model.
Additional packages, accessories, and add-ons for the new Nautilus
For drivers who wish to spice up their 2024 Lincoln Nautilus Premiere or Reserve trims, the manufacturer offers plenty of add-ons, accessories, and packages. Owners can get a $3,000 optional Jet Appearance package that applies two-tone paint to the SUV and high-gloss black wheels. With the jetpack appearance package, the 2024 Nautilus SUV appears sleeker.
Buyers looking for a hybrid system can add another $1,500, pushing the price to over $82,000. The additional packages can push Lincoln into an exclusive territory over its competitors, such as Mercedes-Benz.
With striking exterior styling, an impressive interior full of advanced tech, and new engines, the new Nautilus isn’t just a comprehensive facelift. The manufacturer returned to the drawing board and brought back a vehicle that could compete with rivals like Tesla Model Y.
