The 2023 Ford F-450 Super Duty truck can tow up to 40,000 lbs. This means that the 2023 Ford Super Duty truck can tow more than any other truck in history. It tows more than the Ram Heavy Duty and Chevy Silverado HD trucks.

Ford shared that the new 6.8-liter V8 engine churns out 405 hp and 445 lb-ft of torque. The upgraded 7.3-liter V8 gas-powered engine has been upgraded to crank out 430 hp and 485 lb-ft of torque, which are best-in-class numbers. 

The upgraded 6.7-liter V8 Power Stroke diesel engine provides 475 hp and 1,050 lb-ft of torque. Last but not least, the High Output 6.7-liter Power Stroke diesel engine delivers 500 hp and 1,200 lb-ft of torque. It achieves best-in-class figures too. 

Each engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, and four-wheel drive is standard on XLT models and above.

The 2023 Ford F-450 has available Onboard Scales that can measure the equivalent of 100 80-lb bags of cement. The lights will indicate if you go over your payload capacity or not. Plus, the available tailgate step is three inches lower than before. 

Use the 360-degree surround camera to easily mauver around obstacles. Also, it provides a bird’s eye view of the truck, cargo box, and trailer. The head-up display provides crucial navigation and hauling information so you can keep your eyes on the road too. 

The Pro Trailer Hitch Assist steers the truck to align with the hitch ball receiver, and the smart hitch helps properly distribute trailer weight. The Pro Power Onboard generator powers sites and tools. Plus, this truck can connect up to 10 devices to Wi-fi. 

Now the Ford Super Duty has the best-in-class towing capacity with refined engines, smarter tech, and more convenient towing features. It just reclaimed its crown as towing king.
