Mustang Mach-E Keeps Racking up Awards, Is This the Best Electric Crossover?
The 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E Premium All-Wheel Drive has won AAA’s Best Overall Car for 2022. The Mach E Premium is one step up from the base Mach E, which is the Select, and slots just below the California Route 1 package. AAA recognized the Mustang Mach-E for its power, its spacious cabin, and its fun-to-drive quotient.
And customers are recognizing it, too. In its recent sales report, Ford said sales were 23% through the month of April. The Mustang Mach-E five-seat crossover has won a slew of other awards.

From there, it gets confusing because each package can come in several power ratings: 266, 290, 346 or 480 horsepower. Power ratings depend on which wheels power the car, which battery pack you pick, and which package you pick. All Mach-Es hold five passengers. While the Select and Premium cars weigh 4,318 pounds, the GT and GT Performance editions weigh up to 4,989 pounds due to different battery packs and the all-wheel-drive systems. They can all hold about 30 cubic feet of storage in the back, or almost 60 cubic feet behind the first row, and 4.7 cubic feet of stuff in the frunk.
