New 2023 Jeep Wrangler Colors Feel Royal
This year, the new Jeep Wrangler colors are a bit different. Instead of going wild with a bright shade of neon paint, the latest shades of paint feel a bit more elegant. See how the 2023 Jeep Wrangler looks with updated themes.
New 2023 Jeep Wrangler Colors have arrived
We’re wondering if the 2023 Jeep Wrangler colors were inspired from across the pond. There is a new shade of Reign Purple and Earl Gray. So, there is a sense of being a king or queen while sipping earl gray tea.
Purple represents power and wealth because the original dye was extremely rare and expensive. Only close members of the royal family were allowed to wear it to maintain their elite status.
This could be why the Reign Wrangler is harder to get. According to AutoBlog, Reign will only be available for a limited amount of time. It costs $495 to add, and the order books close in October. Also, this is the first time purple has been a factory paint color option since 2018.
If the Earl Gray suits your fancy, then it will be available to order all year. It costs $395 to add. Both colors are available for the Jeep Wrangler 4xe and Rubicon 392, and the Reign will be quite sophisticated once paired with the bronze rims.
Other available colors include Black, Granite Crystal Metallic, Sting-Gray, Silver-Zynith, Hydro Blue Pearl, Fire Cracker Red, High Velocity, Sarge Green, and Bright White.
What’s new for the 2023 Wrangler?
Not much is changing for the 2023 Jeep Wrangler, aside from two new interesting shades of paint. It’s primarily a carryover model and has been pretty much unchanged since the new generation launched in 2018.
Perhaps the Wrangler will receive a mid-cycle refresh for 2024, but what’s taking so long? The Jeep Wrangler is expected to be fully redesigned for 2027, so it feels like time for a refresh is running out.
The Wrangler kicks things off with a standard 3.6-liter V6 engine with 285 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. You can upgrade to the turbocharged 2,0-liter four-cylinder engine for 270 hp and 290 lb-ft of torque.
With the 30-liter V6 diesel engine, you get 260 hp and 442 lb-ft of torque. It’s pretty rare to find a vehicle with a diesel engine these days. Also, the Wrangler is offered with a manual transmission, which is another sparse feature.
Is the 2023 Wrangler worth buying?
Of course, the 2023 Jeep Wrangler is worth buying. It offers plenty of customization options to fit your individual needs. Plus, it’s one of the few options that can go straight from the dealership to remote areas in the wild.
The 2022 model starts at $29,995. The 2023 model could increase the price by a couple of hundred bucks. If you find that the Wrangler isn’t right for you, don’t worry. It maintains an incredibly high resale value.
Plus, the Jeep Wrangler is durable. It’s built to conquer rough conditions off the beaten path. This contributes to its high-reliability rating. Wranglers can make it between 280,000 to 400,000 miles.
A few special edition 2023 Wrangler models could arrive later in the year. Stay tuned for the latest updates.
