However, the 2022 Ram 1500 TRX made U.S. News’ List of the 10 Best Muscle Cars. The Ram 1500 TRX wasn’t the only vehicle to land a spot on U.S. News’ list either.

1.) 2022 Ram 1500 TRX as the best muscle car

You may be wondering why this new truck made U.S. News’ list of the 10 Best Muscle Cars. A supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8 engine powers the TRX and pumps out an incredible 702 hp. In fact, it’s the same power unit found under the hood of the Dodge Challenger and Charger Hellcats. With the help of launch control, it can go from 0 to 60 in only 4.5 seconds. It’s also great for off-roading. 

The Ram 1500 TRX sounds like a muscle car, so it’s earned a spot on the list. U.S. News also gave it a Performance score of 8.4 out of 10 and an overall rating of 3.1 out of 10. As for how much this new truck costs? Its starting MSRP rings in at $77,780.

2.) 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT Performance, one of the best muscle cars

While the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT Performance isn’t the only Ford Mustang on U.S. News’ list of the best muscle cars, it certainly stands out. The GT Performance features a 260-mile range and can go 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds.

That means it goes from 0 to 60 in only 4.5-seconds. This Jeep is also more than ready for your next outdoor off-road adventure. 

4.) 2022 BMW X6 M

The BMW X6 M comes equipped with a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine that delivers 600 hp and 553 pound-feet of torque. The engine is hooked to an eight-speed automatic transmission with a dynamic all-wheel drive system. 

According to U.S. News, the BMW X6 M landed a spot on its list of the best muscle cars because of its advanced all-wheel drive system. “Drivers can tune the suspension, steering feel, throttle response, and shift-mapping, all with a push of a button,” U.S. News added.

5.) 2022 Dodge Charger Jailbreak

The Jailbreak is a special edition Dodge Charger model. It uses the Hellcat’s supercharged HEMI V8 engine to produce a jaw-dropping 807 hp. It is also available in various design packages and has different performance upgrades, making it one of the best muscle cars on U.S. News’ list.

9. 2022 Chevrolet Camaro LT1, one of the best muscle cars

The Camaro LT1 may impress you. It certainly impressed U.S. News, even landing a spot on its list of the best muscle cars. You can equip yours with a six-speed manual or 10-speed automatic transmission, depending on your driving needs.

10. 2022 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack

Although this isn’t the mightiest Challenger in the lineup (don’t forget about the Hellcat and Demon), this model will give you the most bang for your buck. According to U.S. News, it’s even one of the best muscle cars of 2022. The Challenger Scat Pack comes equipped with the 485 hp 6.4-liter HEMI, one of the best horsepower-per-dollar offerings you can find.
