We’ve seen the new 2023 Ford F-150 Heritage Edition, which looks great, but we’ve been waiting for this style to give the Ford Bronco more retro flair. There are too many 2023 Ford Bronco Heritage Edition clues to ignore, so maybe it’s up next. 

2023 Ford Bronco Heritage Edition: What we know 

We don’t mean to skip over the Ford F-150 Heritage Edition. It looks great. However, we’ve been waiting on the Ford Bronco Heritage Edition for a long time. The first clues about this unique model emerged in 2021. 

Now we could see the 2023 Ford Bronco Heritage Edition arrive in a few months after the F-150 has had its time in the spotlight. According to Muscle Cars and Trucks, the Ford Bronco Pope Francis Center First Edition may provide a few clues about what to expect. 

For example, it wears a shade of Wimbledon White paint, which was available on the original Bronco back in 1966. This color may return for the Heritage Edition with Rapid Red stripes and classic silver-painted elements. 

Plus, the Pope Francis model wears four-slot Detriot Steel wheels that are finished in Wimbledon White. This feature has been spotted on a few prototypes and matches the original design. 

Also, the Heritage Edition may feature a unique one-piece grille and a metal front bumper to complete its look.

How capable is the Bronco Heritage Edition? 

The 2023 Ford Bronco Heritage Edition can be paired with the Wildtrak and Sasquatch packages. This means that the Heritage Edition will be on par with the most luxurious and capable models available, aside from the Raptor. 

Manual SUVs and trucks were a lot more popular back in the day, so we will be surprised if the Heritage Edition isn’t available with the seven-speed manual transmission. However, the Sasquatch can be paired with the manual setup, so that’s a good sign. 

The Sasquatch comes with the 2.7-liter V6 engine with 330 hp and 415 lb-ft of torque. When properly equipped, it can tow up to 3,500 lbs. 

Also, the Sasquatch Package adds 17-inch Beadlock capable wheels wrapped in 35-inch tires, positive-sensitive Bilstein shocks, a locking differential in the front and rear, a suspension lift, and high-clearance fender flares. 

How much does the Bronco Heritage Edition cost? 

Pricing for the 2023 Ford Bronco Heritage Edition will vary based on what packages you add. The 2022 Ford Bronco starts at $30,800 and costs about $4,090 – $6,590 to add the Sasquatch Package, depending on the trim level. 

We wouldn’t be surprised if the new Bronco Heritage Edition costs over $40,000 with some packages. We will provide an update once the official pricing is revealed. 

Unique interior upgrades could increase the cost. We could see a retro-styled white interior with red accent stitching. Pops of red and silver trim pieces could help the interior stand out with premium materials such as leather upholstery and wood appliques. 

The tech and enhanced off-roading capabilities will be the only features that don’t go retro. Things like wireless Apple CarPlay, Trail-mode, the rock-crawling gear, digital gauge cluster, and wireless charging pad will bring the Heritage Edition to modern-day.
