2023 Nissan Fairlady Z is confirmed to bring a Supra-beating bargain to both the automatic and manual
According to Carscoops, the new Nissan Z base, with a 400-horsepower V6, is going to cost $40,890. While that may seem like a lot of money, it is just under $2,000 more than the comparable Toyota Supra. Furthermore, the base Toyota Supra packs a 2.0L four-cylinder engine producing 255 horsepower. So the new Z is offering consumers an extra 145 horsepower for about $1,924 more than the Supra. Choosing a Nissan Z seems like a no-brainer.
The T version of the Z coupe is only available with an automatic transmission and costs about $44,366
The 2023 Nissan Z T model will receive the same 18-inch wheels as the base model and will be available in automatic transmission configuration only. The T version will start at around $44,366.
Nissan’s beloved sports coupe is also available as a 6-speed manual S variant and will set consumers back $47,300
The S version of the Nissan Z will have a set of 19-inch Rays aluminum wheels, a limited-slip differential, and aluminum brake calipers. A 2023 Nissan Z S 6-speed manual coupe will have a starting cost of around $47,300.
The 2023 Nissan Z is also available as an ST model, available with a choice of manual or automatic transmission
The Nissan Z ST will be the range-topping trim, barring special editions like the limited release “Proto-Spec.” Nissan’s Z ST will have the same Rays wheels as the S trim, with added leather and suede-style material. In addition to the more refined materials, the ST seats will have lumbar support and power adjustments. The 2023 Nissan Z ST is available with either an automatic or a 6-speed manual transmission for a starting price of $50,416.
Z is back, and it represents a performance bargain that should have Toyota on alert
In order to give the 400 horsepower Nissan Z a challenge, consumers will have to spec out a 3.0L six-cylinder Toyota GR Supra RZ. The Supra will cost around $57,000, which means you can have a Z ST and money in your pocket. In addition to being a fantastic performance bargain, the 2023 Nissan Z wears its retro-inspired styling well. The Z is definitely going to arrive with a bang.
