NY Auto Show Debut: 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee High Altitude 4xe
Jeep revealed its newest model, the 2023 Grand Cherokee High Altitude 4xe. The hybrid SUV features unique gloss black exterior features for a bold and distinctive new look. Jeep’s show model also introduced its new Hydro Blue Pearl Coat finish. And there’s more as well.
“The stunning High Altitude appearance package and the new premium Hydro Blue exterior paint option gives the Grand Cherokee 4xe a customized look for those who want the peak of capability, performance, and luxury with unique exterior style,” said Jeep head Jim Morrison.
What comes with the Grand Cherokee High Altitude 4xe?
Available on Summit and Summit Reserve, it includes premium Gloss Black 21-inch alloy wheels, Gloss Black accents and badging, roof rails, and an exclusive seven-slot grille that announces its top-of-the-line trim. On the Summit, it is an additional $1,495, and on Summit Reserve it adds $995 to the bottom line.
As for the Hydro Blue Pearl Coat finish, it can be ordered on Trailhawk, Overland, Summit, and Summit Reserve, with both two-row or three-row Grand Cherokee 4xe. It is an extra-cost finish at $395. In the cabin, there are other exclusive features as well.
Are there special features inside the Grand Cherokee High Altitude 4xe?
With the Summit Reserve package, hand-wrapped, quilted Palermo leather is included. Also, ventilated front and second-row seats, memory and massage front seats, genuine open-pore Waxed Walnut wood, along with wrapped suede-like fabric on interior trim and the headliner.
Buyers also get the Jeep Quadra-Lift air suspension, Quadra-Drive II with a rear electronic limited-slip differential, and Selec-Terrain traction management. This management system has terrain modes for Auto, Sport, Rock, Snow, or Mud/Sand.
How much does the hybrid system extend mileage?
All Grand Cherokee 4xe models feature a 25-mile range in all-electric mode, and 56 MPGe combined. The electric system utilizes two electric motors, a 400-volt battery pack, Jeep’s 2.0-liter turbocharged I4 engine, and an eight-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission.
There are lots of safety, security, and audio features. These include Uconnect 5 infotainment system, standard Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a 19-speaker McIntosh audio system. These are standard on Summit Reserve and optional on Summit trims.
The 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee High Altitude 4xe will be in showrooms in the second half of 2022.
