The 2022 Ranger comes equipped with safety features like forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking. Owners report being highly satisfied with the quality and reliability of the Ranger, landing it in the top spot overall for the segment. The Ranger can tow 7,500 pounds and gets around 19 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway.

This compact truck can tow 4,000 pounds, which is enough for most people. The Maverick returned 22 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway with the non-hybrid engine. For the Maverick hybrid, fuel economy shoots up to 42 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway, which is one of the highlights noted by shoppers.
