Here’s When You Can Order a 2024 Ford Bronco Sport
The Ford Bronco Sport has turned into a hot commodity, quickly climbing the ranks as one of Ford’s best selling SUVs. Since we’re almost halfway 2023, it’s time to look ahead to the 2024 Bronco Sport. New reports indicate orders for the 2024 Ford Bronco Sport will be open in just two months.
2024 Bronco Sport orders will open in July
Order banks for the 2024 Ford Bronco Sport will open July 17, 2023.
Ford Authority reported the information, along with details about 2024 Bronco Sport production. According to its reporting, the new model will begin production in October 2023.
Demand has remained high for the Bronco Sport as it offers a smaller, more fuel-efficient alternative to the full-size Bronco. Dealer lot inventory has been pretty limited as shoppers order ahead to help ensure allotment and availability.
The Bronco Sport is beating the Escape in 2023 sales
Although the Ford Escape won the sales battle in 2022, the Bronco Sport is giving it a run for its money in 2023. According to Ford Authority, Bronco Sport has outsold the Escape through the year’s first quarter.
Bronco Sport sales were up over two percent from Q1 2022, totaling more than 29,000 units. By comparison, the Escape only sold around 21,000 units in that time.
What’s new in the 2024 Bronco Sport?
Hard details are not yet available for next year’s Ford Bronco Sport. However, reports show some likely updates to the off-road crossover.
Ford Authority reports that the most substantial change expected for the Bronco Sport is the arrival of a new hybrid powertrain. A hybrid Bronco Sport has not been confirmed by Ford, but reports indicate that it’s likely. Ford manufacturers the Bronco Sport and Maverick at the same factory, so it would make sense that Ford would simply move the small truck’s hybrid system over to the 4×4.
Firm information on next year’s Bronco Sport is currently difficult to come by. However, we expect that Ford will debut the 2024 Bronco Sport this summer in close proximity to its opening of order banks.
