The wait for the Ram 1500 EV is finally coming close. After months of anticipation, we will get to see the 2024 Ram 1500 EV in November. Let’s see what to expect from the Ram Revolution. Did fans really help create the best electric truck? 

When will the 2024 Ram 1500 EV come out? 

The 2024 Ram 1500 EV should come out soon, as it enters production for 2024. Ram isn’t exactly finished planning the truck yet, but time is ticking. That’s why we get to see a few clues emerge in November. 

According to MotorTrend, the Ram Revolution concept will appear in November before the Los Angeles Auto Show. The Ram Revolution is based on the full-size electric Ram 1500 truck, giving us a preview of what it will look like. 

This electric truck is going for a sleek and modern look that separates it from the traditional gas-powered lineup. Mike Koval Jr., Ram CEO, shared that it should open a lot of eyeballs. He also shared that the Ram 1500 EV is going according to plan. 

Koval explained that it might not be the first EV truck to market, but Ram is fully committed to burning the best electric truck to market in 2024 with full knowledge of what competitors are up to. The Ram EV will push past rivals and what people expect. 

What we know about the electric Ram 1500 

The 2024 Ram 1500 EV is subject to change based on what rivals are doing and customer feedback. Customers have spent the last year providing Ram with feedback about what they want with a full-size electric pickup truck. 

Some of the comments have been helpful, while others are pretty out there. The team is almost done with the final design, but there is still a bit of flexibility for adjustments. So the pressure is on to deliver an excellent truck that goes above and beyond expectations. 

The Ram EV will ride on the Stellantis STLA Frame Global platform that can deliver up to 500 miles of range. This would soar past the competition as the Ford F-150 Lightning maxes out around 320 miles of range. 

It also has charge quick times but uses powertrain technology that isn’t available today. That doesn’t sound great. If the tech isn’t ready, then a lot could go wrong before the truck debuts. 

The electric Ram 1500 is expected to have a stout towing capacity. The F-150 Lighting can tow up to 10,000 lbs, and the Rivian R1T can tow up to 11,000 lbs. They are currently the targets to beat.

Will the electric Ram have nice features? 

Yes, it’s safe to expect the 2024 Ram 1500 EV to be quite luxurious. If it’s like the Jeep Grand Wagoneer, then it will incorporate huge infotainment screens, a massive digital gauge cluster, massaging seats, and an adjustable air suspension. 

However, we’re hoping for an affordable, entry-level model. Perhaps a basic trim level will come out for under $45,000. Moving up in trim levels and going for the 500-mile range could have a premium price. 

The RAM EV could get a semi-autonomous driving system too. This way, it will catch up with SuperCruise and BlueCruise. 

We still have a lot to learn about this truck, but in November, we will get a sneak peek. We can’t wait to see how the Ram Revolution looks and hope to learn more clues about the Ram 1500 EV.
