Ram finally debuted its new Ram 1500 Revolution BEV Concept truck. Sure, this is a concept truck, but its likely very close to the final all-electric truck that we should see on roads in 2024. The Ram Revolution is one of the most anticipated new trucks of the year, and it should be significant for Ram’s future. We compiled some of Ram’s best images so you can see what the new Ram 1500 Revolution EV beast looks like.

The Ram Revolution images show the front eschews electric-truck cues

The front eschews many of the hallmarks of EV design, like s super smooth grille and low profile. Instead, the Revolution truck has a high nose with bright LED lights. It’s dominated by a giant metal plate that looks like a skid plate under the blunt nose, which signals that this truck could have off-road aspirations. The front has three market lights slipped under the hood; that could mean that this truck is so wide the DOT requires it to have extra lighting.

The truck is expected in 2024 as a 2025 model.

The tailgate opens like a barn, or traditionally

The first thing you’ll likely notice about the bed is the barn doors on the bed. Those doors do open sideways but can also lock and flop to open like a traditional bed. Speaking of that bed, it has a midgate behind the cab that opens and creates a bed that is up to 18-feet long.

Could the giant wheels make it to production?

The first thing that stands out from the side are the giant wheels. They combine 24-inch rims with 35-inch tires. It also has a tapered Coke-bottle shape with a pinched middle that accents its giant wheel arches and gives it a low, squat, attitude. The contrasting black roog visually lowers the truck. We don’t, however, know many of the specs of this truck that’s supposed to beat the others.

We hope the suicide doors in these Ram Revolution images make it to production

After only a glimpse of the outside, it’s nice to see the inside. Ram’s designers did an impressive job making an interior that most would want to spend some time in. Unfortunately, the interiors of concept vehicles are usually the first parts to be scrapped when we see the production version. But, we can hope that some of the cool features like the removable tablet in the dash make it to production.

The coolest feature, though, has to be the rear-hinged suicide doors. They open up to show off a recycled rubber and cork floor with two rows of seats on tracks, which means they’re removable. There are also two jump seats in the back, which Autobog calls a third row, stuck to the removable midgate. Like the exterior, the interior, too, has flowing LED lights, and sustainable materials front to back.

Inside, too, the Ram Revolution doesn’t appear to have a traditional gauge cluster. Instead, like Teslas, it seems to use giant screens for every bit of data. Also, it has an oval steering wheel that is designed to fold out of the way if you’re using a future autonomous driving mode. While many of the features will make it the production truck, a fold-away steering wheel probably won’t get past regulators.
