Cabin fever has set in for many of us since being quarantined for the last several weeks. Coloring pages, virtual museum tours have helped but not totally. So, Audi’s Australian marketing agency decided to take this as an opportunity to lift people’s spirits by posting a 4-hour long video on youtube of a beautiful relaxing drive along the coast of Australia, as well as many other beautiful sights to enjoy from the comfort of your living room.
Taking a long drive is a way of decompressing for a lot of people. Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, however, people all over the world have strict orders to stay at home. This video is a thoughtful substitute for those that long to get out on the road and just drive.

The video merely consists of a driver driving the Audi A6 sedan throughout Australia, with occasional stoplights, and even some light rain. The camera point of view switches a couple of times from behind the driver’s seat, to facing out of a side window.

The video has relaxing background music throughout the entirety of the four-hour timeframe. Viewers won’t experience any narration or advertising—just a simple escape for those that miss the open road.
