1.2 million Stellantis vehicles have rear-view camera problems

If you own a Stellantis truck or SUV, you might have to visit your local dealership for service. About 1.2 million vehicles are being recalled due to a rear-view camera problem.

A software glitch prevents the cameras from displaying, increasing the risk of accidents and injuries due to reduced visibility. But you can always turn around and look out the rear window.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the issue is related to the radio software that blocks the camera signal from connecting to the infotainment screen.  Stellantis is unaware of any accidents or injuries related to this problem.
