Remembering Toby Keith With His Epic Truck Collection
Pour one out for the ionic country singer, Toby Keith. Remember, it’s whiskey for his men, beer for horses, and a lot of love for Ford trucks. Sure, Toby Keith will be remembered for his music but he also had epic Ford trucks and an amazing vintage car collection.
What trucks did Toby Keith drive?
One of Toby Keith’s rarest trucks is the 2002 Ford Tonka F-350 concept. Only one model was ever built and it was put on display at an auto show.
Toby got the wild idea to use this truck in his music video for, “Who’s Your Daddy?” music video, and Ford said hell yeah they let him drive the massive yellow truck home.
Details about this ride are slim. But it’s equipped with a 6.0-liter inter-cooled V8 engine with 300 hp and 600 lb-ft of torque.
This dually is equipped with a solid Dana 44 axle and has a hydraulic air suspension that automatically lowers the truck when it’s parked.
Toby Keith also enjoyed his 2015 Ford F-150 Platinum FX4 model. It has real off-roading cops, which is important to an avid outdoorsman like himself.
There is actually a video of him bragging about how this truck is new and modern. It feels like 2015 was a decade ago, but at the time, the remote-powered tailgate and 360-degree surround view camera were groundbreaking tech.
A few of his other Ford trucks include the Ford F-150 Harley Davidson Edition, which packs 450 hp, and the Ford F-150 Raptor. His first truck was a 1973 Ford F-100, so his loyalty for Ford remained steady his entire life.
He even used Ford vehicles for the finer life. For example, his Ford Expedition Limousine is a true stretch. It’s another rare vehicle in the collection because this model ended up failing.
Some might still be found in junk yards, but it took a special person to see the beauty that the giant Expedition had to offer. He used it to entertain his family members and friends. To be fair, Suburban and Tahoe limousines didn’t do so well either.
Another fancy ride includes his modern Lincoln Aviator which was purchased for $107,330. It’s modest compared to the limousine but is packed with luxurious amenities such as massaging seats.
The Aviator has a 3.6-liter V6 hybrid engine with 494 hp and 630 lb-ft of torque. The 5.9 seconds zero to 60 mph time doesn’t disappoint.
One of Toby Keith’s coolest race cars is a rare Ford Mustang GT500 for $77,260. This award-winning ride was lifted out of Le Mans.
It has a supercharged 5.2-liter V8 engine that cranks out 760 hp and pays tribute to the exhilarating muscle that Ford race cars have to offer.
Other rides in Toby Kieth’s collection include the Lincoln Blackwood truck, a Mercedes-Benz GLS-450, a 1963 Chevy Impala, a 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 428 Cobra jet, a 1930 Lincoln L, and a 1973 Oldsmobile Cutlass.
Toby will be missed, but we’re sure he’s tearing things up in heaven with a Ford Fo150 Raptor R and plenty of Super Duty trucks to enjoy.
