Who better to cruise around in Audi’s flagship supercar than Tony Stark himself? When Audi released the car for the 2007 model year, the car seemed hit or miss. Many supercar fans loved the low-slung, high-revving Audi. Conversely, some critics didn’t care for the radical styling or led daytime running lights.

Downey clearly fell in love with the car. After his long-term Hollywood love affair with the many variations of the R8 over the years, it only makes sense that he would have one in his car collection.

The Bentley Continental GT is a testament to excess. It is excessively heavy, weighing around 5,000 lbs, and excessively powerful, with eight and twelve-cylinder engine options. Although what it does the best is bridge the gap between British refinement and grand tourer performance. Downey’s Continental GT packs a 4.0L turbocharged V8 engine producing 500 horsepower. No doubt that Downey loves his Bentley land-yacht.

The 1967 Chevrolet Corvette is a top-tier classic car coveted by American muscle aficionados all over the world. Downey’s black convertible Stingray is certainly the embodiment of why collectors want the car so badly. Also, GQ says that Downey drives his Corvette Stingray regularly. That’s wonderful to hear because a historic gem like this deserves to continue cruising.

The 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302 is a sought-after part of the golden age of muscle cars. In Downey’s case, the Boss 302 was lovingly assembled by the wizards at SpeedKore. In addition to the clout of the muscle car, Downey’s Boss 302 features carbon fiber paneling and an updated interior. Also, the old Mustang sits low on a wide set of HRG wheels. According to GQ, Downey’s Mustang won Best-In-Show for restored muscle cars at the 2017 SEMA auto show.

The 1974 BMW 3.0 CS is a collector’s dream machine and a more recent addition to the Downey stable. In addition to the beauty of the stock car, Downey chose to modify the BMW. In his typical fashion, he had the car modified to handle and accelerate more like a modern sports car. His BMW 3.0 CS and Ford Mustang Boss 302 are a testament to Robert Downey Jr.’s affinity for classic cars.
