Rolls Royce, an automotive company known for its expensive, elegant, and classy cars, is looking to cultivate new inspiration in design during this quarantine. To aid during this 2019-2020 global pandemic and bring something to keep those young minds active, Rolls-Royce has come up with a challenge for quarantined kids. Any child 16 or younger has been granted the opportunity to design a luxury car for Rolls-Royce.

Rolls-Royce designs and builds the world’s most extraordinary cars, each a unique expression of the owner’s personality, imagination, and creativity. From paint to embroidery, Starlight Headliner to art and design installations, anything is possible. Aspiring designers entering the challenge can now draw on their own creativity and desire to imagine the design of their very own super-luxury car.

Rolls-Royce Wants Quarantined Kids to Design Cars

Rolls-Royce has come out with a competition directed toward kids/teens up to 16. Each child is allowed to enter as many designs as their heart desires, and in return, they are put into the Rolls Royce competition. The purpose of this challenge is to bring out the creativeness in younger children. The winner of said competition, as well as their best friend, will be escorted back to school in a brand new 2020 Rolls Royce Phantom.

Young Designer’s Competition

The competition is open for submissions worldwide. However, Rolls-Royce has a special prize for all those UK entries. The lucky entrant will also be escorted back to school in style. Once the coronavirus regulations allow it, the winner will also receive a new Greenpower electric car kit that will be donated to the entrant’s school, allowing entry to Britain’s number one motorsport competition for schools-the Greenpower Challenge.

Rolls-Royce hopes to help children keep their minds off of self-quarantine. Many other automotive companies have attempted to support fidgety kids during these hard times through initiatives, online videos, and coloring books.
