RV Manufacturer, American Coach Celebrates 30 Years With Special Models
If you’ve ever driven by an RV dealer or stopped in at one, then you know that there are all types and sizes of recreational vehicles available. There’s one for every budget, new or used. Undoubtedly, you’ve also probably come across an advertisement or television show that highlights the benefits of luxury RV units. Well, American Coach has a lot to do with that. They have been around for 30 years, building different models to meet the needs of buyers with refined tastes and a higher-end budget. To celebrate the company’s anniversary, they are launching special RVs.
American Coach RVs
American Coach was started in 1991. The company focuses on creating luxury coaches. During that time, they have been able to innovate and lead the industry in some cases. For example, they created the full-wall slide out as well as leading the charge with digital gauges.
“Our customers prompted the launch of American Coach, and it’s a great joy for our skilled team, some who’ve worked with the brand for 30 years, to experience the pride our customers feel for their American Coach motor coaches.” – Bill Reith, Vice President and General Manager of REV Recreation Group, which owns American Coach.
Special plans for anniversary RVs
According to our friends at RV News, for 2021, the company has some special plans for some of its model lines to honor the company’s 30 years. They introduced the 2021 American Tradition and a special edition American Eagle.
“For the anniversary year, American Coach debuted the new American Tradition in three floorplans, including a 37-foot model. The American Dream and American Eagle also are available in multiple floorplans. The Anniversary Edition American Eagle will feature hydro-dipped cabinetry – typically found in high-end yachts, the company stated.”
The American Eagle
The American Eagle RV is already the flagship for American Coach. For 2021, it comes equipped with a 605 hp Cummins mated to an Allison 6-speed transmission. This combination allows for up 20,000 lbs for towing.
The interior is outfitted with premium materials throughout and LED lighting. Residential grade appliances are provided. There are also four slide-outs. So, there is plenty of room.
The RV is almost 45 feet long. So, according to their website, the driver has some safety aids to help with the driving duties. These aids come in the form of the RoadWatch Safety System. The system includes, “adaptive cruise control, collision mitigation, electronic stability control, and automatic traction control.” There are also a navigation system and backup cameras onboard.
They build dream machines
Overall, American Coach has been creating dream machines. They don’t just provide a way to have the family camp away from home. They provide a way to do it in style and with panache. It is also obvious that the company has found a clientele that appreciates their products. Otherwise, they would not still be successful after 30 years. If you are thinking about spending a portion of your retirement in a lux RV, the American Eagle may be the way to do it.
