It’s no secret that the Jeep Wrangler 4xe has a premium price tag, but there’s a new way to save. The 2023 Jeep Wrangler Willys 4xe costs less and is tricked out with premium features to celebrate its heritage. 

How much does the 2023 Jeep Wrangler Willys 4xe cost? 

The 2023 Jeep Wrangler Willys 4xe price starts at $55,590, including the $1,595 destination fee. Plus, it may still qualify for the $7,500federal tax credit.

This is slightly cheaper than the standard 2023 Jeep Wrangler 4xe Sahara, which starts at $56,360, which is $770 more than the Willys. 

You can upgrade to the 4xe Rubicon for $60,190. Also, the 4xe price increased by about $200 over the 2022 model. That’s a small increase compared to options like the Chevy Silverado that have grown by thousands. 

Until now, the Wrangler 4xe has only been available with the luxurious Sahara trim and the hardcore Rubicon off-roading trim. Perhaps Jeep will continue to provide more affordable options. If you like the Willys 4xe, you can order it now. It will be available later in the year. 

What comes with the Wrangler Willys 4xe? 

The 2023 Jeep Wrangler Willys 4xe has familiar Willys touches such as body-colored fenders, a black grille, and black wheels. It has a vintage ‘4-Wheel Drive’ rear logo and Willys hood decals. Only they are outlined in blue to emphasize the 4xe’s electric power. 

According to AutoBlog, the Willys 4xe has a standard limited-slip differential and rides on 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 225/75 mud-terrain tires. It includes rock rails and full-time 4×4. Plus, the standard LED lights and fog lights will light up the trails. 

This beast is hard to stop thanks to heavy-duty Dana 44 axles and a 2.72:1 4WD low range ratio. It’s also quite efficient, with up to 25 miles of electric range and an EPA-estimated 49 MPGe. 

The Willys 4xe has a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that’s paired with two electric motors and a 400-volt 17-kWh battery pack to crank out 375 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in about 6.0 seconds. 

Also, the interior features all-weather mats, a 9-speaker Alpine audio system, a One-Touch Power-Top, and the 8.9-inch infotainment system. 

Is the Willys 4xe better than the regular 4xe? 

The 2023 Jeep Wrangler Willys 4xe isn’t much different from the Sahara. But the Sahara doesn’t have the locking differential or rock rails. The Willys is closer to the Rubicon. 

But the Rubicon features an electronic front disconnecting stabilizer bar and the Off-Road Plus dring mode. 

The 2023 Jeep Wrangler 4xe Sahara does add a few convenient features, such as automatic climate control, keyless entry, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel, though. 

Plus, you can add a bit more customization to the Sahara and Rubicon models. You can opt for heated seats, leather upholstery, the three-piece hard top, and plenty of safety features. 

If you like how the Willys 4xe looks, then go for it. It shares some of the same equipment as the Rubicon but at a slightly lower price.
