Imagine this: you’re driving to work when you spot a semi truck tipped over on I-40. Boxes are scattered across the highway, and something slick coats the road. As you creep closer, it hits you: this isn’t just any spill. That overturned semi was was packed to the brim with sex toys.

Oklahoma City found itself in a very sticky situation that morning. After a collision, a semi-truck’s trailer split open, launching its “NSFW” cargo across the road. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol quickly warned drivers about the closure–and reported no one was seriously hurt. Meanwhile, the team at Channel 9 sent their chopper to investigate. The live feed of the carnage would soon leave both reporters and viewers a little red-faced.

“This is a semi that overturned and lost its load,” chuckled Skynews 9 chopper reporter Jim Gardner. But things got even funnier when the morning anchor asked, “Jim, can you tell what he’s carrying there? What’s all over the road?” Gardner zoomed in and awkwardly muttered, We’re zooming in… not really. I can’t tell. Maybe you can tell?” Spoiler: no one at the studio could tell.

Enter Oklahoma news blog The Lost Ogle, which took a closer look at the footage and cheekily reported that the semi had spilled a “load of dildos and lube” all over I-40. It turns out the haul was actually vibrators—lots and lots of vibrators—mostly from Adam & Eve, according to Vice News. Still, it was enough of an eyeful to leave viewers stunned.

And what was that shiny liquid? According to Snopes, it wasn’t lube, but rather a “liquid to clean the sex toys.” I guess the upside is the highway got sanitized. But the result wasn’t any better for traffic.

So, where was this frisky freight headed? Oklahoma is home to a major adult-product distribution hub, so this batch was just making its rounds. OK! In the aftermath, The Lost Ogle reached out to nearby adult store “Patricia’s” to see if the crash caused any inventory issues, but the shop cheerfully reported that sales were still “buzzing.”
