Classic car shows still excite a lot of people. Car lovers from all walks of life flock these shows to some of the most beautiful cars ever built. Arizona Auction Week

Arizona Auction Week is a well-organized auction that that appears on many best-of lists, and it is easy to understand why. The televised event presents over 2,000 vehicles, and the cars are best in class. Each year, it beats the market expectation with a massive demand for high-level automobiles. It takes place in January, at Phoenix, with Barrett-Jackson as the anchor tenant.

Iola Old Car Show & Swap Meet

It is one of the biggest and best car shows in America. The car show is a production of a non-profit corporation established to promote the industry and the betterment of area communities.

Taking place at the Iola Car Show Grounds spread over 300 acres, the show boasts more than 2,200 show cars, 4,200 swap spaces, 1,000 car corral spaces, and 1,600 camping spaces. The three-day Car Show and the Swap Meet offers a range of services and is a big event for car enthusiasts in America.

The Woodward Dream Cruise

Woodward Dream Cruise was founded as a small scale event to raise money for a sports field in Ferndale, Michigan. Today it is the world’s largest one-day automotive event. Each year, it attracts 1.5 million people and 40,000 classic cars from around the globe. People from as far as Japan, Australia, and New Zealand participate. It is no wonder it has been baptized the ‘Annual Rite of Summer’ by the Motor City of Detroit.

Charlotte AutoFair

On the Charlotte Motor Speedway grounds, Hornets Nest Region AACA holds the highly regarded event in Charlotte AutoFair. It happens twice in a year. Once in the spring, and once in the fall.

The April event included about 10,000 assigned spaces for vehicle buyers and restorers, whereas the September event will have about 7,000 assigned spaces. They enable people to buy and sell parts and supplies for most of the vehicles produced in the past. They also have a Flea Market which has souvenirs tires, vintage signs, wheels, automotive toys for sale.

Copperstate 1000

Copperstate 1000 is known for its open-to-participate, the open-to-attend policy that makes it a darling among the car lovers. It is a family-friendly event which takes place at Temple Diablo Stadium. Attendees get ample time to admire a range of car collection and also enjoy quality time with car owners.

At the end of the day, Copperstate 1000 welcomes over 3000 enthusiasts to see the 80 plus vintage sports and race cars. After car viewing, drivers depart on a 1,000-mile road rally.

AACA Fall Meet (Hershey)

Founded at the beginning of 1955, AACA Fall Meet takes place during the first week of October. Meetings are held at the Chuck Wagon Lodge, 131 Museum Drive, Hershey.

The region’s AACA is responsible for the preservation of antique automobiles, educating the show goers about antique automobiles, preserving automobile history, and promoting sportsmanship. During the meet, attendees visit over 9,000 vendors, view over 1,000 cars on sale in the car corral.

Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance

Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, the car collector’s dream event, has been running since 1950. The show is held at The Lodge at Pebble Beach and sees car collectors from all over the world compete at this classy affair. Automobiles are judged for their style and technical merit, history, originality, and the accuracy of preservation.
