So what do Snoop Dogg, a Chrysler Cordoba, and a Gas Chamber Green ’57 Chevy have in common? It was recently Snoop Dogg’s birthday, or “C-Day,” and so he gifted himself a lowrider Dodge Cordoba with T-tops, and a custom 1957 Chevy. Then the rapper went about personalizing them further to his liking. 

The day before his birthday he contacted YouTuber “Caliboy” with a favor. Snoop wanted something special for his birthday that he could have the next day for his birthday. He set some loose parameters and set Caliboy on his way. First Caliboy found him the 1970s dark brown Chrysler Cordoba with T-tops. Not exactly lowrider material but it sure looks the part.

The interior and dark brown paint had recently been completed. And the air-ride suspension had been installed the day before Caliboy contacted the owner. It features a 318ci V8 with a four-barrel and automatic. The T-tops are a rare factory option and look that 1970s part. 

Another factor in buying the Cordoba is that Snoop has a granddaughter named Cordoba. So that probably helped things along. Ya think? Snoop Dogg is into 1970s lowriders but this cordoba will still fit right into his collection. 

Snoop also picked up a 1957 Chevy Bel Air two-door hardtop

Though hard to beat the uniqueness of a lowrider Cordoba, Snoop also got what is surprisingly the oldest car in his collection. He picked up a 1957 Chevy Bel Air two-door hardtop. It has that gas chamber green finish with a matching green leather interior. 

Inside there are also gold accents with subwoofers mounted in the trunk. You would expect that it would have a killer sound system. There is also a new radio display and a custom center console with lots of chrome. 

While the Bel Air looks to be a mild lowrider, that idea fades when you pop the hood. Powering the classic Chevy is an LS3 GM engine. It looks like a stock LS with the stock LS finished with the exception of the coil packs. Those coil packs are painted the same green color as the exterior. The final flourish is the “Snoop Dogg” pinstriped on the air induction tube. You can also see the plumbed air conditioning. With global warming, you’ve got to have air conditioning.

Snoop has a bevy of custom cars, most all of them lowriders and most being late-1960s to early-1970s GM products. Just some of the more recognizable are his green 1974 Cadillac “Snoop DeVille,” his 1967 “Brown Sugar” Cadillac DeVille, the 1968 Cadillac Coupe Deville, two 1966-1968 Buick Rivieras,  a 1967 Pontiac Parisienne convertible, and his more recent Rolls-Royce Ghost. 

He also gifted the late Kobe Bryant with a very similar 1966 Pontiac Parisienne convertible after the popular Laker retired in 2016. The yellow-and purple Pontiac looks similar to his 1967 which he says is his favorite car. His 1967 Pontiac convertible is yellow inside and out.
