According to Car and Driver, the Lucid Air Sapphire will manage a sprint to 60 mph from a standstill in just 2.0 seconds. Furthermore, it will blast all the way to 200 mph. Of course, getting your hands on the 1,234-horsepower AWD luxury sedan is no cheap endeavor; the Sapphire starts at around $250,500. 

Is the Tesla Model S Plaid one of the fastest sports sedans with AWD?

The Tesla Model S Plaid took what we saw in the previous Ludicrous speed Teslas and added more of everything. More horsepower, more range, and more engineering make the Plaid a 1,020 horsepower king of sports sedan hill. Tesla claims that, with everything set up in favorable conditions, it will shoot to 60 mph in just 1.9 seconds. Of course, you’ll have to part with at least $110,130 to snag the 4,828-lb AWD EV super sedan.  

Is the Taycan Turbo S faster than a Tesla?

The Porsche Taycan Turbo S is properly swift; it will outrun most Teslas. The exception, of course, is the unhinged Model S Plaid. In Car and Driver testing, the Porsche EV managed to hit 60 mph in just 2.4 seconds. That’s 0.1 seconds behind the obscenely powerful and purpose-built Dodge SRT Demon. Speed like that puts the Taycan Turbo S in the running for one of the fastest AWD sedans on the market. 

Is the BMW M5 Competition one of the fastest sports sedans with AWD?

The BMW M5 has evolved from a practical sleeper car to one of the fastest sports sedans with AWD on the market. The latest BMW M5 Competition dealt with a 0 to 60 run in just 2.6 seconds using its 627-horsepower twin-turbocharged V8 with AWD. As a result, the M5 Competition is a four-door weapon with a plush interior and a 190-mph top speed. 

Is the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG fast? 

Enter Mercedes-Benz’s beloved AWD super sedan, the E63 AMG. The Mercedes-AMG E63 uses a 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 to produce 603 horsepower. The result of that power is a Mercedes-AMG sport sedan with AWD that will hit 60 mph in around 3.0 seconds on its way to a governed top speed of 186 mph.
