Sorry, This 2021 BMW Model Is Already Sold Out
Do you want the 2021 BMW Alpina XB7? Well, our apologies. This BMW model is completely sold out. However, maybe you can get a used model one day. Just not anytime soon, because production for preorders hasn’t started yet.
The 2021 BMW Alpina XB7 is sold out
To be fair, it’s pretty challenging to get your hands on an Alpina BMW. Sales are limited to 2,000 models per year worldwide. That’s about a fifth of the annual Ferrari sales. So, this is one exclusive ride.
Also, the BMW Alpina XB7 is the first Alpina SUV model to make it to the United States. It’s currently being manufactured at the BMW plant in Spartanburg, South Carolina. So, stake the area out, maybe you’ll get to see one.
The 2021 BMW Alpina XB7 is priced at $142,295, which includes its destination fee. While preordered models haven’t entered production yet, the first example will be delivered in South Carolina around September.
Buyers will be able to have their Alpina serviced at any BMW dealership and have the option of getting the Performance Center Delivery experience from the BMW Performance Driving School, which is located onsite at the plant.
Is the 2021 BMW Alpina XB7 worth it?
Now, $142,295 is a ton of money to pay for an SUV. So, is the BMW Alpina XB7 worth that high price? Well, it is one of the world’s most powerful SUVs, and it even has three rows, making enough room for the entire family.
Plus, the Alpina lineup is known for luxurious features and torque that generally aren’t found on other BMW models. The 2020 BMW Alpina XB7 has a 4.4-liter Alpine-tuned twin-turbocharged V8 engine that pumps out 612 horsepower.
The 2021 BMW Alpina XB7 can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4 seconds. Sports cars, like the Mustang Mach-E, can reach 60 mph in 3 seconds, so this is pretty incredible for a large, three-row SUV.
Also, the power can be heard through the Alpina quad exhaust system. The 8-speed sport transmission with Alpina SWITCH-TRONIC creates a dynamic driving experience for multiple different driving modes.
2021 BMW Alpina features
The BMW Alpina XB7 has a two-axle air suspension system with Active Roll Stabilization, and Integral Active Steering system provide a smooth ride and agile handling for an enhanced experience. That experience can be enjoyed from first-class luxurious leather seats.
You’ll notice superior attention to detail, including a hand-finished LAVALINA leather steering wheel. You can also choose your trim between Walnut Nature Black, Piano Black, and Myrtle Wood.
There is a full-color Heads-up display, which is an extremely advanced technology feature. Also, the cockpit features two 12.3” displays that are operated by voice, touch screen, and an iDrive touchpad controller.
The automatic four-zone climate control will keep everyone comfortable and the 16-way power seats feature lumbar support. The power liftgate and panoramic sunroof are handsfree, and there are heated and cooled cup holders. Every single aspect of this BMW SUV has been fine-tuned to be enjoyed.
